Yes, I can't believe anyone doesn't like the way Don Sings this song. In my opinion it is the best version I have ever heard. Don is a Christian and a good down to earth man. Never tried to be flashy or be seen. Just wanted to put out good music that would mean something to his many fans. He did that and more. He was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame this year.

Don was asked why he didn't rcord a Christian/Religious album. His answer, I don't believe in profiting from religious songs. Therefore, he never recorded any albums of that type.

I have this song on a Christmas cd my mom bought a few years back, "Christmas Country Style" also has old songs from John Anderson and Eddie Arnold. I looked it up in itunes but couldnt find it, there was another cd with same title but diff songs so good luck!!! mine was released in 2001 BMG special products... if that helps

This is so BEAUTIFLLY sung by Don WIlliams, I don't know why he wasn't inducted in the country hall of fame, he tops the list for my husband and myself.
