I believe most people are thinking the 3DS is going to have games that feature the 3d effect the glasses give, where the picture comes out at you, but all the games shown for this so far seem to show the normal 3d games we have played for quite some time now, really nothing to get excited about that I can see.

@brandynne dude the game is in 3d with the picture pop out and stuff they made the hand held able 2 project 3d without glasses also u are looking at the games through a 2d screen (ur cpu) so u canot see the 3d also they are not projecting any real gameplay off the 3ds cuz it would be blurry so us viewers can see

@brandynne Because we've only been viewing things from cameras and videos. The technology used to have the poput 3D effect only works if you look at the screen personally, because it has sensors indicating where your eyes are.

What are you talking about?Not all developers will chose to use 3D.And even if they do they can chose to use it in certain section.If your actually talking about 2D sprites I think they will be some being released for the 3DS like Paper Mario(although it will use 3D effects for sure).I don't know if the 3DS will have less pure 2D sprite games

Man I know Nintendo is smart and won't do the same mistake as Sony, they made movies for the psp on UMDs selling them for the same price as the DVD I would rather have it on a DVD, no wonder they didn't go popular. @SlamTheLabel ehh i was on the same topic for awhile i actully played the new motion controls and they seem to work pretty well except for the move i hate the button design on that fuckin thing it feels really awkward to press some of the buttons, and its senser bar is really screwed up because the cord is really short and it takes awhile to set it down, the kinnect was fun but i did find alot of jittery in the game but thats problably the senser bars fault idk.

I'd say they rip-off for a head start to alternate, eventually turning it into something good and more original. example: rumble pack for the 64, then influenced rumble controller; psx. it may have been a stolen idea, but now all consoles have built in rumble controllers. so some of the greatest creations are just altered rip-offs. example 2: tiger to DS

Yeah but the 3DS is a hell of a lot cheaper than a 3D TV and plus you don't need glasses with the 3DS like you would have to wear with a 3D TV. So no matter what you say 3DS still wins.

Although PS3 and Xbox 360 Slim can handle 3D, Sony is having to develop Real-D glasses along with it. The glasses detects the polarization from the Hertz from the TV and projects it as a 3D image.

I think it will be a few years until they release Nintendo-Like technology onto TV's, its to expensive to make it that size for the time being.
