I read today that there is expected to be another wave of massive layoffs coming. Unemployment will over 10% soon. This is not going away anytime soon. The economy is not the only thing responsible. What is rarely mentioned that often is that many of these jobs are being replaced by technology. We were warned decades ago that people needed to get training and education in tech, management, business, engineering, etc. Blue collar jobs are a thing of the past.

During the depression real unemployment was the standard measuremnt, not the bogus one we have now. I read today that there is expected to be another wave of massive layoffs coming. Unemployment will over 10% soon. This is not going away anytime soon. The economy is not the only thing responsible. What is rarely mentioned that often is that many of these jobs are being replaced by technology. We were warned decades ago that people needed to get training and education in tech, management, business, engineering, etc. Blue collar jobs are a thing of the past.

@b3gregjockca China will also indeed fall. Now if there wasn't any money in the world and we all were just "one" WITHOUT money and just called, "planet earth." Then all would be self sufficient, but countries exist and the world runs off MONEY. Therefore it would be literally impossible for a single country to live alone and be self sufficient, if the world runs off money and if a single country kept money. If you were alone there would be no need for money. IDEA! The world should be 1 country!

@logan500 I believe! But, I also know that before there is an end of our Earth We will travel to other Planets... We will no longer be part of a world Economy! We will be part of a great Federation (or group) of Planets! For GOD did not put us on Earth to live Alone We will become part of a Galactic Economy where $ has no power! And, some day (within 777 billion yrs) we will all be United in Eden! For, this is where we all came from! God sent Adam & Eve out to populate the Universes that he made

The U.S. is filled with untouched resources! Its called planet earth there is resources everywhere. You're probably only thinking of our beautiful deserts. But even in our deserts have tons and tons of resources.

@logan500 Dude everything you have said is total bullshit. There is no oil in the US, other then Alaska. They have almost no coal. They have no natural gas emissions. Congrats - no resources. Your deserts are at a lack of resources other then salt and silicon. If America falls China will not be affected. They have very few outside imports other the Australia. And guess what - Australia has not felt the effects of this so called "Global Financial Crisis".

@MrSupdup Anything can happen in crap like this that is going on. China will not be the last to fall and they are not self sufficient I promise! The U.S. is the last world power this world will know and will be the last to fall. Not because the world is all going down, but something even better. I'm not rooting for the U.S. here and I'm not on either side lmao. Please don't talk about what you don't understand about Money and how it all works.
