That's total b u l l s h i t!! Battery seal in this phone is a joke. I killed mine when washing the case under stream of water. Died instantly. I'm gonna give it one more chance and seal battery myself with silicone. It's rubbish comparing to legendary Ericsson R310 that server me for 7 years under much more tougher conditions.

I read it's water resistant, not waterproof. LG has a waterproof one also with a camera and bluetooth and what not, but i think it's only for north america.
