  • Reading all the comments... Ok it doesn't take that much to burn the calories a can of soda, but do you guys really know somebody who drinks only ONE can of soda a day???? srsly...

  • You can tell he has a huge penis.

  • This ad is misinformative, it is making it seem as though you must 'exercise' all of the calories off each day. In fact, considering that average male Resting Metabolic Rate is anywhere from 1500-2000 calories, that means you can easily allocate the 140 calories that a regular can of Pop has into your daily diet. Even if you do any exercise at all, such as walking from the bedroom to the bathroom, increases you metabolic needs for that day - so have some pop, you'll most likely be fine.

  • Inaccurate. Drink your soda sometimes, and stay generally active, and you'll be fine. Sheesh.

  • beer 4 me! i aint going nowhere!

  • Have you tried Cherry Dr. Pepper? Soooo worth it. MMMM Chemistry

  • You're wrong on the distance required to burn off one soda. There's too many factors to get a precise answer.

  • I don't trust people that tell me that milk is good for you.

  • Like this if this made you thirsty for some soda.

  • So then how long do I need to walk if I drink a diet coke?

  • This video is just so ambigous with the numbers it becomes pointless. If you wana lose weight stop eating garbage and get moving. The end.

  • People that don't drink Sodas and said "the hell with sodas companies" thump up

  • @DiningCart

1st, the video clearly states a 20oz. soda. A 20oz bottle of Coke has 250 kCal.

2nd, "90% is lost in the metabolic processes [etc.]" is a moot point & accounted for when kCal is determined.

3rd, "Walking burns about 170 kCals/hr." Numbers vary, but this seems based on a rough figure of a 150lbs person walking 4mph. Walking faster/being heavier increases kCal/hr 'significantly'.

4th, I wouldn't ignore studies showing 'liquid calories' appear to be 'worse', metabolically speaking.

  • I don't know what the big deal is, it only took him 46 seconds.

  • I can eat a full cow and those 3 miles would burn it off right away. Cant care about 20 oz. Soda.

Pouring on the fat. Its impossible to get extra fat.

  • According to this feces I can make a video about anything and it would be considered art. Amazing. Seriously, is this what it comes down to? Please say no. This person has not artistic skill what so ever. None. He is as talented as the shit that comes out of my ass.

  • @OzPublic not the point , your comment is faeces* now gtfo.

  • The basis behind this video is not true. Of the 140 kCals in a Coca-Cola can, over 90% is lost in the metabolic processes (there are several dozen steps between eating/drinking and locomotion). So, you get 14 kCals. Walking burns about 170 kCals per hour, so you ACTUALLY only need to walk for about 5 minutes.

Math: the reason nerds don't exercise.

  • @DiningCart No, the measure of kj's in foods are what the body can actually get out of the food. i.e., the 10% processable.

  • @DiningCart proof or gtfo . either way..cola isnt healthy for you . doesnt take a 'nerd' or genious to figure out some artificially made black substance with 30% sugar and a dozen artifical sweetners isnt good for you ..

  • Unsweetened tea? Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • 3miles is 60city blocks food for thought

  • Or you, I don't know, could just exercise and eat/drink whatever you want instead.

  • @loliusetheinternet Exercise is only one half of the equation. The food you eat has a huge impact on your level of fitness and the quality of life.
