@ilovehih99 Original Video Animation,mostly to check if the anime has a chance to become popular they test it with an OVA which hast mostly 3-5 episodes and contains the rough content of the whole series which is broadcasted later(12/13 to 24 episodes)if the ova was good for the audience.Latetly OVAs are also extras after an anime has aired on TV to provide Fanservice or some action/comedy-packed episodes after the real show has already finished airing. -also used to solve some issues&questions
