My guts tell me that JasonTodd will eventually assume the mantle until Bruce returns not Dick. He's more like Bruce in fighting style and personality. He has that same intense ability to change his psychosis via an inner revolution to realize the various dimensions of circumstance regarding himself or around him.
BUT, to talk in terms of the most likely unexpected, Vic Sage.
It could possibly turn out like (Tim: Batman/Dick: Red Robin) that would shock everyone. And I would be happy with either as long as Jason isn't Batman and Tim doesn't die. I'm a happy camper.
Seriously, Jason Todd has got to be one of the worst written characters recently. I love Jason and he's a great character. I mean hes not the brightest apple but he sure can kick anyones ass(including Batman!) and theres tons of depth to play with but instead Tony has reduced him into a mustache twirling pyscho. A lot of people just want him to die again and after reading this issue I almost agree which saddens me because Jason IS a great character who has just had some bad writers recently.
actually all of them have been seen at least once so far accept spoiler (Batgirl and Lynx were in one panel in BftC 1 and Gordon was in a pretty cool side story in BftC 2). The one thing I found weird is that Black Mask isn't on any of the covers, and he's the major agent of chaos so far.
Tony Daniels said the Dick/Jason fight is going to be a lot more intense than his with Tim, so im excited. There was also a new image that showed Squire on the Robin cycle.
I had GL Corps, Amazon #2 and Titans 12, but i might just have to smoosh them all together with this week cause life is too crazy at the moment. I want school to be done.
Haha, it was glorious. I read it on the metro and I think everyone thought I was crazy cause I kept smiling and making happy noises....it was a bad sitiation.
Haha...well the underwear is my roommates because she doesn't like to close her closet door and the flag is me representing The Who.
I am totally not sure at all how this will turn out. You know what though how are we 100 percent sure this is Jason under this mask(I personally think it is but there is no way we can be 100 percent sure)
can anyone suggest any current punisher comics at all? :D
Im a marvel fan, I'm not big on DC, i'm looking at getting my regular comics again, but im sort of interested in picking up a couple of dc titltes, and got no idea whats out there.
Ok, first off I think how Joker is going to play in all of this is at the very end. He's going to end up being Black Mask all along, I mean the shot of him soaking up all the chaos is a dead give a way for me.
As for the Jason Todd, Dick Grayson, Tim Drake fight: Grayson is the winner but it costs him something pretty bad, maybe taking down Jason Todd. Possibly losing Tim Drake, doubtful but hey it's only a guess.
interesting theory Mister Gem, but I'm afraid I have to disagree because for one Joker only caused chaous when the "real" Batman was around and since Batman isn't around Joker has no point in carrying on the play.
My theory for the joker is this: In a batman graphic novel called "going sane" Joker belived himself into thinking he killed batman during battle after the battle Joker gave up being the joker went to have surgery and have amnesia. from there Joker had a regular life and got married. but when batman came back alive Joker went back to his crazy self again. so what I'm guessing is that with the real batman gone, joker has went to retirement. what do you think of the theory?
You said no marvel books for next review and the way you described that nothing jumped out at you to buy made me wonder something. Do you have a pull list or do you just show up every Wednesday and pick up whatever you see that interests you?
Battle of the Cowl needed to be a longer series. I like the cover, but it is misleading, and kind of pointless. Jason, of course, will start winning. But Dick will make a come back and win in the end because he has to. Honestly, I do not think Jason Todd will survive this event. I think the new Black Mask will kill him, then set him as the the anatagoist for the new Batman. This story is screaming out for a tragedy. Also, I believe that DC did not mention an ongoing for Jason Todd.
I completely agree. I feel like this arc could have been 10 times better if they had let it develope more than just 3 issues. Still, it's pretty awesome. I believe Jason Todd will also die, leaving Tim to be the new Red Robin, leaving Damian to be Robin.

Can you give spoiler alerts?
maincharacter84 2 years ago
Most comic reviews are just rehashings of what goes on inside the comic, so spoilers are kind of inherent.
AdelaideNott 2 years ago
Doesn't mean it has to be.

probably the weiredest if not the creepiest part in battle for the cowl was when Jane Doe wore a skinned face of a gotham police cop.

Who are Knight and Squire? I have no idea
ParagonComics 2 years ago
They are pretty much the British versions of Batman and Robin. They were in the beginning of the first Battle for the Cowl
gothamgirl2009 2 years ago
I know, but where did they come from? I never saw them before. Was it Final Crisis? I missed that series.
