I'm from colorado, born in raised, and iv'e thought about moving there, because of the mountains, and even though it's hot, it's dry heat like colorado. The only thing I'm worried about is the heat though. Is it really that hot? I'm used to it even getting up to 90 degrees here in colorado in the summer, so i'm sure that's a taste of it. I just don't know how i'd handle another 20 degrees hotter than that O_O

I'm a British serviceman and i spent 5 months training for Afghanistan in Arizona ( mainly Tucson and Phoenix). Can i just say you people rule. Everyone i met was awesome, everything was massive, didn't run in to any trouble (well maybe in one bar!), weather was unbelieveable and everyone seemed to have nothing but love for us and of course your own military. Thanks for some amazing memories.
@Ishbu101 I live in Phoenix, and I would say that the summer is unbearable, as it can get as hot as 110+ degrees, but the winters are great as the coldest it gets is 50 degrees. I'm pretty sure LA has better climate.

Look into Gilbert,AZ. I live there and it's wonderful. One of the lowest crime rates in the USA. Just east of Mesa/Chandler/Tempe. It takes me about 25-30min to drive into PHX when I want too.

We got the Alamo, River Walk, the old missions and other historical buildings, Sea World, Six Flags, the beach is an hour and a half away Good Mexican restaurants and bar b que. and The Spurs. Go Spurs Go! If you wanna somewhere cheap and warm but has alot of entertainment it's about San Antonio or anywhere in Texas.

Look into Gilbert,AZ. I live there and it's wonderful. One of the lowest crime rates in the USA. Just east of Mesa/Chandler/Tempe. It takes me about 25-30min to drive into PHX when I want too.

I was born and raised in AZ. Sometimes I hate living here but overall I love it. 7-8 months out of the year is great weather. The summers are brutal.

Iam originally from CAli but I have to say I am moving to Phoenix this summer woo hoo can't wait to get out of NM hate it that has to be one of the worst states ever. Yes, you are correct, but relative to other large cities, Phoenix's shitty areas aren't as bad. I moved here ten years ago from Santa Barbara, which isn't too far from L.A. The ghetto areas in L.A. make Phoenix's ghetto areas look like gold. Santa Barbara is paradise, but I fucking love Phoenix.

I live here unfortunately. Can't wait for the economy to get better and move. Thinking about my birth town San Antonio. San Antonio is way better then Phoenix. We got the Alamo, River Walk, the old missions and other historical buildings, Sea World, Six Flags, the beach is an hour and a half away Good Mexican restaurants and bar b que. and The Spurs. Go Spurs Go! If you wanna somewhere cheap and warm but has alot of entertainment it's about San Antonio or anywhere in Texas.

Probably because you sit at home and jack off all day. Their is alot of attractions in phoenix not mentioning the illegal attractions like street racing is big in arizona bet you didnt know that. Go to the movies, get a girlfriend..arizona has some of the hottest chicks in the world bet you didnt know that either. Lose some weight, great training facilities in AZ and alot of underground fight clubs. You just suck and dont enjoy life you live under a rock and have no friends thats your problem.

I was born in San Antonio. True it's a hardcore republican state but so is Arizona. A lot of people in Texas are annoying but so is people in Arizona. The only difference is Texas has alot to do. Like I said theme parks, beaches, a lot of sports teams, greener, San Antonio is one of the oldest cities in America and most visited. Dallas and Houston have a lot to do. Texas I would compare to California with entertainment. and it's cheaper to live.
