We were trying to get them to play at our college in Santa Barbara (Westmont), but the school couldn't figure out all of the contract stuff in time. Brad was already out in California and driving from Napa to Malibu...We talked and he suggested playing somewhere else, like someone's backyard...and oh yeah, Pete Francis was with him (pleasant surprise)....soooo...we threw it together in about 2 days and I'll never forget it...Brad came back 6 months later and played at Westmont

This is my buddy's video and this was my house. I was reading over some of the comments and wanted to reply...we were incredibly lucky and fortunate to have 2/3 of one of the greatest (and I agree, relatively unknown) bands of the past 10 years to play in our backyard. Dispatch was/is my favorite band, and the fact that they played in our backyard at a moment's notice when I couldn't figure out a larger venue was UNREAL. These guys are as good as it gets, as musicians, and as PEOPLE. UNREAL!

@LaroueRose @LaroueRose It wasn't just for friends. It was advertised on Braddigan's website, and I got in for $10. It was supposed to be a "Braddigan" show, and half way through, Pete just came out of the "crowd" and was like "Oh yeah, I'm here too" and played a few songs.
