they dont have to sell out to be more famous. i just htink they have unreal music and people dont realize what their missing. you don't have to be a hater becuase i wished their music was more received. and no i dont enjoy nickelback, so i think your points irrelevant and rude.
I just found these guys last month - thank you for posting these videos. It makes me sick that they don't play together anymore.... If they do start back, hope they come to atlanta...
We were trying to get them to play at our college in Santa Barbara (Westmont), but the school couldn't figure out all of the contract stuff in time. Brad was already out in California and driving from Napa to Malibu...We talked and he suggested playing somewhere else, like someone's backyard...and oh yeah, Pete Francis was with him (pleasant surprise)....soooo...we threw it together in about 2 days and I'll never forget it...Brad came back 6 months later and played at Westmont
This is my buddy's video and this was my house. I was reading over some of the comments and wanted to reply...we were incredibly lucky and fortunate to have 2/3 of one of the greatest (and I agree, relatively unknown) bands of the past 10 years to play in our backyard. Dispatch was/is my favorite band, and the fact that they played in our backyard at a moment's notice when I couldn't figure out a larger venue was UNREAL. These guys are as good as it gets, as musicians, and as PEOPLE. UNREAL!
@LaroueRose@LaroueRose It wasn't just for friends. It was advertised on Braddigan's website, and I got in for $10. It was supposed to be a "Braddigan" show, and half way through, Pete just came out of the "crowd" and was like "Oh yeah, I'm here too" and played a few songs.
my girlfriend just played this song for the first time to me.. i love this song... and the fact that they are just playing this in someone's backyard just makes me love them even more... you guys are amazing!
its amazing that they did this show playing their amazing songs. however, i wonder, did these people watching know them? did they know their songs? because this band was the most under-recognized and unappreciated band in the past decade. too bad they cant share any more with us who want it
im very jealous. and this is probably my favorite video of them cus a backyard is as gritty as you can get and you can with the limited resources you have and they still sound badass! if that makes a lick of sense to anyone but me...
Wow, the fact that they came is absolutely amazing to me... now I don't know what kind of connections your friend had but regardless of that, that is pretty cool! You have no idea what I do for that. :)
straight to the heart!

There's no rule saying successful artists can't do a home show for their friends every now and then. It's almost BETTER.

Id rather be at the backyard concert myself.
