@olevarher you'll get the same result as blocking the strike, the chain will wrap around the sword, if you understand physics you would understand this better =) but dont worry we learn something new everyday

very good demonstration. Kusarigamajutsu is far superior. No wonder in the Lone wolf & Cub mange, they had Ogami Itto him barely winning and only winning by sheer luck.

That is true. However, the 15th Headmaster of Suio Ryu Iai Kenpo is also the 12th Generation Soke of this Tradition. So in this case it is not Suio Ryu but Masaki Ryu Fukuhara-ha Kusarigamajutsu demonstarated by the current Headmaster.
