@guypoope: Because Exdeath was originally a tree. As for why he's walking around... turns out that sealing a thousand demons inside the same tree just *might* turn the tree alive and omnicidal.

Why are they putting Tifa in? I thought Square put characters in that were supposed to be key to the stories in the games, like Jecht & Tidus; Kefka & Terra. I would have thought that Yuna would have been a better addition to that logic since she's vital to the story of FFX and also is the main character in the sequel game.
