miss his voice man.. such a funny guy and so interesting.. so glad I picked up the shamen's re:evolution single in 93.. probably did and has done a lot more for me than if I hadn't
Terrance is one of the greatest thinkers of all time. along side Galileo. I hope in hundreds of years children will read about terrance in history books.
I cant believe I have only just discovered him!! Especially after having read doors of perception so long ago.Maybe 3 weeks ago. I have to watch at least a video daily to remind myself of his teachings. Its like he has verbilised what I have been trying to think, confirming my suspicions.A new psychedelic journey begins here.
There are no heroes,no heroines,no villans ,no vigilantes,no past,no present ,no future, there is just a moment of pure expression occurring. WE are co-creators of this expression by our emotion intention. Peace...
i had an experience that resembles, and may be, what McKenna is talking about at the end of the video. The Logos.. everything transparent to its own intent (to communicate).. or however he said it. For me, everything in the room bubbled up individually, like each object was the top of a jet of "water", offering itself up to me. The stove, the painting, the pitcher, the plant.. simultaneously suspended and tumbling out at me.. everything was eager, but not anxious, for my attention. Mushrooms!
@Valerian1 the logos is the world in a grain of sand, it's in your head, it's your own subconscious memory and thought. we all have the same ones because we live in the same thing. we organize against the unbearable. its our collective unconscious like Jung says, the same desires and patterns. form and logos i think are fully material, just awe-inspiring in the way we all get it in the same form, a sense that it was mirrored from a special source, but in the end i dont think i can say it is.
The guy was an absolute legend! Hes books and philosophy about the world and future are even better than Nostradamus ! Hes way of thinking is better than the Dally Lama ,it is a real shame he died so young ,the words he has spoken will forever remain .
I love this talk, and keep coming back to it, but I can't help but get the Image of Terence, during his last weeks, out of my head when I listen... Thanks much...
Yeah, I know what you mean I stumbled onto him about 2 years ago and just couldn't get enough of his talks. Then one video came up where it was obvious he was ill and then the next a tribute to Terence. It was truly saddening.
Prophet McKenna exactly, who preached of the disco gleam ball at the end of time reflecting onto 3D history of which we are a part, the polyphony of aspects of this infinitely complex gleam ball available with the aid of DMT etc. This is like a vision of the Hindu god Shiva doing the dance which creates the universe, the cause of all causes. He has synthesized a broad range of religions and philosophies and brought them into line with scientific rationalism (also rejecting scientific flat time).
Now that I think about it this transcendental object or attractor at the end of time which we are hurtling toward, is not really the 'cause of all causes' but the 'result of all results' or perhaps both at the same time (whatever time is).
Why the fuck is there someone washing dishes in the background? Very irritating when listening to the last speech of the most important speaker to ever grace this stupid little planet. Some kind of sound cleansing program should be utilized.
i noticed in alot of his lectures theres always an extreme amount of planes ... always with the planes like there broadcasting from an airport runway ...
Absolutely right. I've listened to all of him and this really is the final word on what it's all about.. but you'd probably have to listen to all of his other material and seen these things for yourself before realizing it's all here.
I guess all good things come to an end. Its also sounds like the interview took place near a heart warming kitchen buzzing with life all that I love about life
TMK's death was a tremendous lost to the cause of studying the psychedelic experience, but it eases my mind that people like you are spreading his word, sharing his knowlege. Thank you for sharing this. Safe trips for everyone :)
Check out Graham Hancock, He's doin some pretty good work at the moment. His latest book Supernatural is a great read all 600+ pages of it. Enjoy. Peace and solidarity my brother. May we all expand our conscienceness before its too late ; {)
Thanks for this interview, I couldnt watch the other videos of this interview because it showed McKenna is his dying state. Really sad, tough to watch - but I suppose we shouldnt lament, his true self has moved on. Anyhow, thanks

If I could resurrect 2 people from the dead and light up a joint with them, it would be Terence Mckenna and Alan Watts.

We need to explore this part of are being in order to heal ourselves as collective. I think we are to scared to explore inner space.
