this vid reminds me of the shiba i played with the in the pet store. its seems as though they dont really give a fuck about human interaction. the one i played with preferred to explore the square box and ignored me completely lol. my shiba also has problems with interaction. he would rather mark territory all day then play with the other dogs

I have one, soon to be two. Both black and tans and I show them in conformation. They do look cuddly, but I really don't recommend them to many people.. I absolutely hate it when people get dogs just because they are cute. If you're considering to get one research, have a fenced yard (Tall fence, these dogs can jump!), have tons of patience, and remember these are not dogs that are going to let you carry them around and dress them up. At all. Very cute pup in the video. I have videos of mine too

Shibas are adorable, but if you're considering one, make sure you do your research! They can be escape artists, can sometimes be a bit nippy, can be destructive, or they can simply not be the snuggly dog that you expected (i.e. cat-like, independent). But not all of them are this way. Just make yourself aware of the possibilities before you commit to a life with a Shiba, and decide whether you will be able to love them and take care of them regardless. :)

Shiba Inu is an ancient breed of dogs. Don't go out and get one just because they are cute. They have highly primitive instincts and can be highly destructive as a pup. Most people, in fact even most vet's have no idea how to take care of these things properly. For one, you are NEVER EVER supposed to pick them up like some yappy little angle biter.

The puppy is a Shiba Inu, which is actually one of the oldest in history. I think the breed dates back to the third century B.C. The breed originally comes from Japan. If you're super interested, I'm sure you could find more info if you google it. =P
