  • at the end you said something like "doing your cardio, preferable interval-style first thing in the morning... in a fasted state"

    do you mean not eating 1st thing in the morning, but rather waiting until after you do your cardio to eat a nice breakfast?

  • PS - Ab exercises don't give you "ripped abs". LOSING BODY FAT gives you ripped abs. People like you are what make others so confused. Stop praying on those who don't know. Douche.

  • I don't have any choice but to go slow since I don't have access to a steel frame like that and my pull up bar is an easy remove type so I can't close the door. Fine by me, I like having something to give feedback and force me to do the exercise correctly. If I go too fast, I start to swing, big no no.

  • Thanks, I tried doing this for awhile without the bar behind me, all I did was swing. This should help a lot.

  • leg raises are amazing for abs indeed. Ever since i started doing them I have noticed my core strenght gone up, and it shows through my squatting and deadlifting as the weight has gone up on both exercises since i started training my core.

  • Cardio and eating healthy is what gets you abs not crazy advanced workouts like this... I got ripped abs from just doing jacknifes, leg lifts and crunches, the rest was just burning off the fat around my abs from 30 minutes of cardio a day and eating right for about a month.

  • @strongfp getting ripped abs is A LOT EASIER than getting well developed muscular abs building the abdominal muscles themselves is harder than shedding bodyfat.

  • @htaehxela well this is a year later, but yes, slightly it does, but you have to eat healthy, stay healthy and active, and build muscle, cause even when you sleep, your muscle will raise your motabolism, i learned that in school, LOL who knew school taught you stuff

  • Hey Darin, I didnt understand what you meant by saying stachy and non-starchy food. Also, I usually do my cardio and workout on the same day. cardio morning. workout at late evening.
