@vtech2608 have you searched the sacred hymns ? google what you want and keep clicking till u get it, if i find it before u do then ill post it. surely within the last two years u have right?
theres alot of things in the bible people should study the word of God for themselves They call it the Restored movement church they put some of things in the church but not all. Its ok though. Nobody can place anyone in either heaven or hell. God is the utimate Judger WOW GOd bless I like the singing
Wrong - "sing and 'make in your heart' to the Lord" is misinterpreted. IT IS NOT "MAKE MELODY IN YOUR HEART'' - IT IS "SING AND AND MAKE MELODY TO THE LORD "WITH ALL YOUR HEART" - you folks need to buy a Greek Dictionary, correct your false teaching on instumental music and Baptism just to name two errant beliefs!
And yet with your words you are not saying instrumentaytion should be included. Moreover, there are at least 2 other verses bearing A capella sinigng- Col. 2:16 (if I'm not mistaken.)
Instrumentation was introduced by the Catholic Church because they felt more ceremony was needed--and for a while it was resisted because it was condered sinful... but eventually took hold.
Oh and Baptism is from the Greek, Baptizo (sp?,) meaning immerse. That isn't hard to figure out in a concordance.
The Eng. word baptism is a transliteration of the Greek word baptizo, and means "to immerse." Baptizo does not always refer to water baptism in the NT- Matt 3:11; Mark 1:8; 7:4; 10:38-39; Lk 3:16; 11:38; 12:50; John 1:33; Acts 1:5; 11:16; 1 Cor. 10:2; 12:13
Peter is not talking about immersion in water, as the phrase "not the removal of dirt from the flesh" indicates. He is referring to immersion in Christ's death and resurrection - "an appeal to God for a good conscience," or repentance.
@dickiebow2003 what does that have anything to do with the song? Are you trying to strike a debate on youtube ? with this congrigations singing in the back ground? Im a member of the body of christ and the message can be true but delivered in such a way that is not. please be careful to pick your format. and audiance well. imho

what I meant was, Col. 2:16 being a prime example of singing without instrumental accompaniment. sorry about that.
