She had been banned. For the time being she is allowing me to be her defacto account. I'm keeping up with all new songs, etc and developments on her behalf. We exchanged emails and she said it is okay to keep it like this for now.

@xOAlyzsagalOx Yes she does send me vids directly at times. I have a couple of videos I'm not comfortable putting on at this time. So I am holding it back until the time is right.

She was banned by WMG or UMG or some other company. They have come after me a bit here as well so I am seeing what she saw. I have already deleted one video to try to get them off of our backs. Let's hope that helps. I have to keep a close guard on this channel to keep it going.

@Lightblinder Yes I completely agree. There have been many covers of music done by many people where they don't get banned. It seems that she performs them so well that the scanner thinks it is a copy of the original. Since the last posting I did on this link I have had to pull yet another video. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that history doesn't repeat itself here.

@xOAlyzsagalOx They have a program that scans the videos tags and samples the music. If there is a match then a report or complaint is immediately generated. Even if it is a cover like Sori's it will still trigger the copyright.

I have a theory that account size matters here. Youtube must have a threshold of sorts before they scan. The video I deleted was on for several months. So unless they are using a commodore 64 then they should have detected it earlier.
