The 2006 WJC was one of the most unforgettable hockey moments for me. That team was a major underdog that worked hard to prove winning doesn't just come from what the level of talent on paper reveals. Not to mention, it repeating Gold on home soil in Vancouver (my homecity), with spectacular crowd support blooming with Canadian pride. #7- I remember Finland vs. USA in the bronze medal round, and Canada was totally behind Finland's back. They loved it.
the juniors is not even fair canada will always win the turni the players they pic play with sssssssssssooooooooo much heart they r unstopable our juniors could probably beat our pro team
That wasn't always the case, but in the 1980's Canadians decided they were not just going to just hand the trophy over to the Soviets or anyone else and they elevated their game, because they were faced with a challenge. I'm referring to the program of excellence of course. As long as we have vision Canadians will excel and prevail.
i have to say it: our juniors often play with more commitment than our pros do. Obviously, the caliber of opposition is better at the pro level, but I am always puzzled when I watch pros do things (take bad penalties, circle lazily in the neutral zone) that our kids don't do.
For some reason, these NHL guys have a tough time buying in; evidently, making a few million changes your perspective on things

That's awesome. =) I love watching the World Juniors, and I like it even more than the regular Men's World Champs. Team Canada rules!
