I'd rather go to Bulgaria than to Rome. My boyfriend makes the BEST bulgarian food. You want BAD food? U.S.A. sells tortured meat with all kinds of chemicals in it, junk food, fast food, and un-ripe, radiated, genetically altered veggies and fruits. Most of our people are obese/fat and sick from our food. This conversation was pretty rude to Bulgaria, and also showed a lot of ignorance, sorry. If people had an education about the Bulgarian history, they would have a little more respect.

@ADLP09 I was in BG and the food was good to me, but no one else in my group could eat it. (especially the meat, soups and stews). You have a distinctive spice that you put in every food and westerners can't get used to it easily. and you put it in every meal. Funny thing is Bulgarians tell me that they cant even notice it. Yogurt was the best in the world!!! and cheese almost as good as in Macedonia and Greece.

Chockful of natural beauty; and nicely planned cities (where you can actually walk to most places) with very interesting architecture. The people are very gracious and hospitable. (England : 800s-900s , Russia in 800s too ,Denmark - 900s and etc.) It`s not our fault that nowadays our goverment is so terrible, and it is good to be proud of our history,customs and culture- because when other contries began to develop we already had Bulgarian alphabet(which is foundation of all Slavic languages) and it was the 4th accepted Holy language from the Pope (+Latin,Greek,Hebrew) :) I may say 100 things addit. to this. I don't know about doing good things for the world but yes about about 1878 we did have something like a war with the Turkish Empire. Like every country we had ups and downs in our history. @MonikaPeevska Actually internet in Bulgaria is 50 MBits and up from many providers for about 10-15 USD a month, compared with the best I can for the money here in the states - Comcast 20 MBits for $60 a month. So yes, we have internet, we are one of the best computer gurus in the world, and we are top 10 societies with the fastest internet in the world.
It`s really sad that there are people who talk that way. Bulgaria has amazing history, amazing nature. I recommend you to read a bit about the culture, think you like it. Listen to bulgarian folklore music. What make us good is not еconomics but tradition.:)

@ADLP09 I was in BG and the food was good to me, but no one else in my group could eat it. (especially the meat, soups and stews). You have a distinctive spice that you put in every food and westerners can't get used to it easily. and you put it in every meal. Funny thing is Bulgarians tell me that they cant even notice it. Yogurt was the best in the world!!! and cheese almost as good as in Macedonia and Greece.

(England : 800s-900s , Russia in 800s too ,Denmark - 900s and etc.) It`s not our fault that nowadays our goverment is so terrible, and it is good to be proud of our history,customs and culture- because when other contries began to develop we already had Bulgarian alphabet(which is foundation of all Slavic languages) and it was the 4th accepted Holy language from the Pope (+Latin,Greek,Hebrew) :) I may say 100 things addit. to this. I don't know about doing good things for the world but yes about about 1878 we did have something like a war with the Turkish Empire. Like every country we had ups and downs in our history. @MonikaPeevska Actually internet in Bulgaria is 50 MBits and up from many providers for about 10-15 USD a month, compared with the best I can for the money here in the states - Comcast 20 MBits for $60 a month. So yes, we have internet, we are one of the best computer gurus in the world, and we are top 10 societies with the fastest internet in the world.

It`s really sad that there are people who talk that way. Bulgaria has amazing history, amazing nature. I recommend you to read a bit about the culture, think you like it. Listen to bulgarian folklore music. What make us good is not еconomics but tradition.:)
