Idiot likes,Obama. That explains alot, like why is he one of the shittiest countries on Earth. What's that asshole liberal doing there? Trying to make the world a better place?? What a fucking joke. I have been to Chittigong twice so I know what the hell is there. One major typhoon and it curtains for 100's of thousands. Real Change...LOL!!
wow, I really want to go there to see. show some respect to the ships (they're basically the reason for our industrial prowess, especially in norway where I'm from, we have the 6th largest merchant fleet in the world).
I wish the government there aswell some diplomats from various countries and some camera-crews made a ceremony there. to thank the people chopping them up so the materials might become new ships, and to remember the importance of the ships.
Actually some American ships are scrapped overseas. I was on an American crude oil tanker and we delivered it to Singapore to an Indian crew which we helped train to operate the ship. (it was a steam ship and none of them had ever operated a steam ship before, which was interesting). They brought in a Romanian engineer to help them run the plant. It was potentially being steamed to Chittagong to break, but rumor has it they saw the excellent quality and decided to keep it.
