Looks like a very miserable overcast day. I did the London to Brighton in 1991 and it was cold and windy and rainy all day - more like February than June.
Just one other thing might be a long shot , but would like to apologise to bloke whos handle bars i bumped into after being cut up by two other cyclist,was gonna slow down to say sorry,but due to the ammount of abuse that got thrown at me i thought it best to put bike into turbo and ride like shit!!!
Really nice to see video, been getting withdraw symptoms ever since the ride.Had a 7am start so didnt suffer too much with stop starting, though did see some really nasty looking accidents. Walked most of the way up ditchling, but got 52mph going down other side which helped to get a grand finishing time of smack bang on 4 hours, which i would of took before ride, but 3 hours 59 would of been so much better. Reckon i could take off 30 mins next year weather permitting.

1st timer and I'm well chuffed to say I beat Ditchling Beacon (i think its called). The secret.... 'Eye of the tiger' on repeat :-p 3h29min
