  • it was actually good form....

  • if it wasnt marked as a hazard, he could have treated it as casual water and dropped away from it. lol

  • what course has a tiny ditch with 1 inch deep poo-water next to the green. by the way great shot

  • @cleorkzths great comment! it seems the course designer was in two minds about whether to create a proper water hazard or just drain the runoff away. In the summer it dries out, revealing mud, which isnt a good thing to play from at all. But as Tiger says.. it is what it is. Next time they do some reworking of the course I expect this feature will be history.

  • wait so your telling me when your ball is sitting in a puddle of water your suppose to hit it? i've been taking a drop everytime my ball ends up in a puddle on the fairway.am i suppose to play it when that happens?

  • he sucks!! i can hit better den him !!he should directly hit the ball,i tried it...i stop right beside the pin...his ball keep running..

  • Tough Guy US Open? Whats the prize? A pair of tough skin jeans?

  • nice he didnt take the stroke, even better he went for it..., im sure there are haters (city folks) but i admire your American rights not as a pussy that most people in this world are "politics" all in all, you deserve a birdie for putting this on youtube, maybe even an eagle if enough people think so

  • never heard of the tough guy us open

  • 2 shot penalty for outfit

  • really didnt want to take that penalty

  • club touched water before swing , 2 shot PENALTY ! >:(

  • @CaptainClive08 I see what you mean but I think the water ripples may be coming from the player's shoe. It's difficult to tell and you could be right. Thanks for commenting!!

  • @rowanbirch was only joking lol , very nice shot though !!

  • @CaptainClive08 It was the shoe.

  • @CaptainClive08 im sorry but i dont see any red or yellow marker poles thus it is not a hazard :/ :L just saying

  • @CDxwg thanx for commenting - you can see the yellow marker at about 0:24 when the camera turns back to point at the hazard.

  • @rowanbirch haha :) never saw that ;)

  • @CaptainClive08 it was dirt or debris from him sitting on the bank that dropped down into the water causing a ripple.

  • maybe if it was a nice course you wouldnt have kiddy pool like water hazards

  • not bad

  • bet you missed the one back.

  • why are u guys talking about the title, it's "Tough Guy US-Open" right? not the real US-Open...

  • nice shot...but not 2006 us open..maybe in your dreams!!!! eheh!

  • The funny part is how you got in the water hole from the start! :D

  • he touched the water before it! PENATLY

  • nice shot... change the title

  • What kind of a water hazard is that, realy ? :S

  • look at your face :D

  • AMAZING

  • i bet that put was for double.

  • great shot that's what goolf is all about...fun

  • gotta give him credit for even trying a shot like that!

  • It appeared the club was grounded (touched water) in hazzard - add two strokes!!!

  • YOUR CLUB TOUCHED THE WATER B4 HITTING YOUR SHOT THATS A 2 SHOT PENALTY! maybe i dunno but nice shot!

  • i love the dude in the background hes like standing thinking to himself this aint gonna happen

  • ...and then he 3 putted

  • AH very good....... but remember you are playing from a hazard and touching the water with the back of your wedge results in a two stroke penalty every time. Remember that carry on with Dustin Johnson at Whistling Straits!!! Joke but rules IS rules(!)

  • nice shot

  • U.S OPEN yes of course lmao^^ but nice shot

  • I have actually hit one of these in slightly deeper water, yeah I suck a golf too Funny thing is due to the club face tilt, a large percentage of the water goes straight up, and straight down.

  • after the 10th try, nice shot....

  • ASIAN SKILLZ!

  • you touched the water!! So !!!!

  • hahahaha good shot

  • Maybe if you had a caddy he could've pointed you away from the hazard. Just saying.

  • @tonytone73 Very well put!

  • @rowanbirch Very well putt, hopefully, for the hole.

  • @tonytone73 zing

  • Would this shot be allowed in USGA rules???

  • @weedazman123 duhhhhhh yes

  • @cb98100 sorry, i just thought because it was submerged in water it would be a hazard

  • @weedazman123 it is a hazard

but according to the USGA rules so is a sand trap and u can hit it out of a sand trap cant u?

  • Yer but his club don't touch the ground just the water so there is no advantage.

  • His club was grounded and should have been penalized for it. You can see the club create ripples.

  • Hey, 006...It's amazing how many Youtubers actually think you meant the USGA US Open! People, it's the TOUGHGUY US Open...A FAR more exclusive tournament

    Heheheheheh... :P

  • @repsajuil1 so true, and true TOUGHGUYS would never say shit like "this is a goat ranch" or "I miss my caddy". They're TOUGH and they just dig deep and deal with it. That's why so few even qualify for the event.

  • @rowanbirch and just for the record, this amazing golf shot it accomplished by 004, not me. I just happened to have put the film crew in the right spot at the right time.

  • @rowanbirch film crew my ass this looks like it was filmed with a cell phone

  • i have never seen someone playing in a pga tournament with a stand bag and no caddy. lol

  • this isnt your video and that course is is on the gold coast queensland

  • @skittlepower95 Thanks for commenting but the Toughguy US Open is always played in the northern hemisphere. But I would be interested in finding out more about the course you think it's at!

  • yes that was the us open look at the grass... what lush green.

  • thats one hell of a shot, i must try that some day

  • us open would never be held at that little crappy 20 dollar course.

  • it doesnt really matter but ur back swing skimmed the water and thats illegal.

but really who the hell cares!!!!!! xD

    great recovery

  • U.S. open...

  • great shot

  • wow impresive : I

  • didn't even get it on the green

  • US Open? Where's his caddy?

  • omg you r great!!! I love that shot!.

  • us open... with a stand bag and carries his own bag :)

  • Nice shot Rory!!

  • @maxxsee Please tell me that you didnt mean Rory Maclroy or however you spell his name.. not even close

  • Nice shot Van De Velde!

  • NICE SHOT BUT YOUR NOT AT THE US OPEN

  • should not have put it in the drink in the first place.looks like a poor second shot, short of the green if you ask me.....

  • @cranley100 ummm i don't remember asking you actually.

  • @cranley100

    Are you stupid or jealous?

Anyone can miss a shot, and you can see he was just on the border, and maybe if the ball wasnt going in the water, it was going on the green? When tiger made his shot out of the bunker over the water on the green, he made a poor first shot, but came back with a good one. Rowan did a good recovery, and you are jealous.

  • @cranley100 Lol as if you have never hit it in the water. Get over yourself dude stop trolling and get a life.

  • ya pretty good shoot

    hihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihihiihihihihihi

  • bonjour

je suis de ton classe et tu as beacoup de perssonne qui regard toi sur youtube

il y a 41,887 quand jai vu le WOW!

  • pretty good shot man.

  • nice shot...

but now you have wet shoes and socks :O

  • awesome shot!

  • wow hell of a shot, i probably wouldn't have even attempted that

  • great shot to save a stroke... too tough-most wouldve dropped =O

  • nice shot...and good chase on video taping it

  • nice fukkin shot, dude

  • Class

  • and u didnt get kicked out?

    lol

  • kicked out? you are allowed to do that

    even on the pga tour

  • Just open the club face all the way and lead with the hosel in order to cut through the water and make a steep strike.

  • Shot, hard to pull off. What's your handicap mate?

  • wat the crap i didnt see the bunker marked with hazards, wouldnt you get a casual water relief?

  • It's a marked water hazard, not a bunker. You can clearly see a yellow stake in the background at 0:24.

  • No penalty shots incurred - the club is clear of the hazard until the stroke is made. Tough Guys are tough, but they play by the rules.

  • Great shot, but you get a two stroke penalty for touching the water hazard pre-shot.

  • pointlessly gettin wet

  • talking about bad lie hehe :p

  • good shot. creative. Did you make the putt?
