  • Groove right in the pocket...Elvis at his peak

  • The KING #1 FOR EVER

  • Elvis is the one and only king of music.

  • his best

  • elvis presley the ultimate king of rock'n'roll

  • This song rules. The music is fantastic. That bass is groovy.

  • Super cool Blues music.

  • c'est le meilleur.....mégalo mais inégalé......

  • It sounds like he and the band are having so much fun doing the song! "Play it again, play it again..." I love it!!!

  • Tennessee is a state ...Memphis is a city and yeah they are considered southern although the state was actually split during the civil war Elvis was from Missippissi and would've been considered a reble reble and racist are not one and the same ... study the history books before commentin, please. Miss ya Elvis

  • @gambitslover94 Need to check your spelling. It is Rebel

  • LOL I live in Elvis' hometown city & state xD.

  • @KRiZZxTV whats it like

  • @HarrieKerr Nothing special really, actually pretty boring lol.

  • @KRiZZxTV :L:L:Lwhats your msn:D

do you think hes dead or alive:))

  • @HarrieKerr I have aim, its ichristian2015. And yea he's dead, no doubt about. I think Tupac is alive but I know Elvis is gone. He didn't just die out of no where like MJ and Tupac. In some of his final concerts you can see his pain, he just got worn out.

  • @KRiZZxTV IS MEMPHIS A CONFEDERATE STATE AND WAS ELVIS A GOOD OL REBEL;?

  • @HarrieKerr Yea, Memphis, Alabama, Mississippi, all around there was confederate, not anymore though. I don't think he was racist.. idk what you mean by rebel..lol

  • @KRiZZxTV A GOOD OL REBEL LIKE DID HE BACK THE SOUTH

  • @KRiZZxTV How could he have been racist? he worked with the Inspirations. All southerners aren't racist

  • @nita512001 The ones shouting that ELVIS is a racist the loudest are Michael Jackson fans. Before Jacko can take the crown of music ELVIS has to be branded a racist, so that's what their agenda is. I've got news for them. It isn't going to work.

  • My all time fave song

  • This 1969 Back in Memphis album was great and was Elvis's last inspired recording sessions. Recorded at a small studio in a seedy part of Memphis, Elvis got back on track- at least temporarily. After this great album the Colonel intervened because he thought the songwriters were getting too much royalties. So it was back to the lame RCA Nashville studio and rather uninspired songs from then on.

  • Great song, great photos!

  • PERCY MAYFIELD song...nice version

  • Love the blues tone to this song....

  • Yeah baby!! If you don't like this you ain't human.

  • wow..thanks for this one (not one of big ones hit wise) VERY bluesy...many elvis fans are just now re discovering these non chart toppers or B sides which are still great tunes. thanks again

  • elvis, you will never a stranger anywhere in the whole wide world.

  • ELVIS ALWAYS BE THE KING!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • Let's just say Chuck Berry, Carl Perkins, Bill Haley or Little Richard tried to open a door. Then here came Elvis and smashed the door down. Then everybody came running over him like the Beatles or whatever comes next. Elvis didn't necessarily start Rock N Roll, but he MADE IT HAPPEN.

  • @elvispresley11 and that's why he's the King!

  • @elvispresley11 that's exactly right....all the people you mentioned said the same thing.....

  • Elvis The King of Music. The only singer able to sing in different styles of music. If it was not for Elvis, singers and bands like Michael Jackson, Beatles and others would have never existed. Jacksons and the Beatles did not had a good voice, but because of Elvis era when the world was looking for more Elvis type singers, they became famous. long Live The King! ELVIS PRESLEY. Love from Iran.

  • I would call this a mix of blues, funk, country & pop. Cool E. You keep on doing amazing things... Maybe all the world doesn't see it but I do!

  • The world should remember that E is the only man in history inducted into 5 Genre Halls of Fame.Rock, Country, Blues, Gospel & Rockabilly. titles him a "master artist" in 5 genres. "Ya baby!" His voice b/c of it's versatility & skill has been studied at places like Harvard. One scholar said his voice "is perhaps the most contested acoustical phenomenon in modern culture." another.. "Elvis was all at once a tenor, a baritone and a bass. The most unusual voice I’ve ever heard."

  • What genre is this?? I think E has created a whole new genre yet again. ha! I say yet again b/c I can prove E created the true "Rock" sound/genre. Listen to Bill Haley & Big Joe Turner sing Shake Rattle & Roll. Neither wrote the song..both are infusing their own style into it. Think of the song as a canvas. Neither of their styles was going to set the world on fire & start a revolution. Bill's is a POP feel. Big Joe's more BLUESY. Now E's...E's mania & unique genre fusion made the "rock" sound.

  • My fave song of all time

  • @bryanweis Agreed!!!!!

  • if im not mistaken thats bill dailey aka roger healey at 3:26, you know hes still alive, he just had to stop that peculiar degeneration common to our species and now he represents this planet throughout the universe and as usual, is only hanging in the dopest locales tcob, pcp (peace ep)

  • Wonderful rhythm, I LOVE it.

  • HE beats them all,,,

  • Es extraordinario como se enfrenta a cada estilo y rallando a un nivel muy alto en todos los estilos que se deslizan por sus cuerdas vocales.

  • nice video! Thanks for posting and sharing for Elvislina! *****

  • Awesome 9000 0000*

this musoc was new for me. see ya

  • I knew you would like it

  • I love it when he sang the blues...my huz actually prefers his older music & doesn't care for the newer Elvis songs in the late 60's & 70's...this was recorded in 1969, but it mimics the way he played & sang when he started out. LOVE the pic him at 1:32...Yes sireee! LOL! Thanks for the share Alan! Warmly, Red

  • Tell your husband he's wrong and so are you.

  • What are you talking about? Instead of leaving a "vague" response, why don't you qualify what you mean? Wrong about what? My husband's "opinion," regarding what songs he preferred from Elvis during specific time periods? The pic I love of him at 1:32? What? What I wrote has NOTHING to do with "right" or "wrong." If you're looking for a debate, or an outright argument, I'm up for it, but have some ammunition, pretty please, 'cause then I say bring it on! Red

  • Explain what you mean when you say " it mimics the way he played and sang when he started out"

How can someone as original and unique as Elvis mimic himself?

  • What could I say that has'nt already been said, Bravo Elvis Fans your the Greatest...TLC...

  • Elvis was a very talented man. I love this one and High Heel Sneakers, Down in the Alley. Elvis was multi talented. Yes when it came to Elvis' music he was a serious worker and poured his heart and soul into every song he did. Elvis is a wonderful man. I love Elvis.

  • This is the King in his prime. People rarely credit Elvis for the vast amount of material he created, more than just about anyone else from his era. The man was a workhorse with a solid work ethic. Memphis Sessions is the perfect balance of the vitality from his youth and the maturity as a man and his growth as a singer. Most Elvis fans have never even heard this great track, just another gem lost amongs all the gold.

  • If you never buy another CD buy Memphis Sessions and blast out this track while driving.

  • yeah The Police gave me a ticket for Driving under the influence of The King. haha

  • Nice song.

  • Excellent song!!! Elvis kicks blues better than blacks.

  • Yep

  • Give me the clap !Give me the clap baby!

  • What a great piece this is. It should be re-released right now!

  • Apple pie, Harley Davidson and Elvis !

  • great way to rock on this blues driving song what a awesome solo from reggie young and elvis really gets into it

  • 20th Century American pop-culture's greatest.....

    Coca~Cola, Mickey Mouse & E L V I S !

  • America has one greatest deed, that's producing a man called Elvis. He is so so good.

  • check out the walk a mile in my shoes boxset version of this song. closest Elvis ever came to admiting the so called Memphis mafia were bleeding him dry.

  • Love this song. It´s just so cool and relaxed. Reminds me of "Merry Christmas, Baby" for some reason.

  • He was the best,no wonder the ladys were after him yes indeed ! thank you

  • This is one of the greatest song Elvis did, especially as it was from a great era if you've never listened to the Follow that Dream Label C.D The Memphis Session{69} I suggest you do as it is so raw and has a longer version than here on it.

  • Love My Elvis always and forever. 30 years later and I love you more and more every day, along with millions of other fans. You will live on for an eternity. RIP. TCB. To the most beautiful man that ever graced this earth. SweetParis

  • I just love Elvis singing the blues! Great video!

  • great pics!

  • I'm not GAY! But, he is the only man I have ever called beautiful.

  • Why in the world are men hesitant to call another man beautiful or tell a guy he is handsome or good looking to his face? There isn't anything wrong with a sincere compliment, we all have eyes and most of us enjoy a good looking man or woman, good eye candy right? Get over it guys, learn to pass out compliments and stop worrying about what people think.

  • Say It!! You Go Girl... Sometimes you got 2 Break it down

  • Got that great stax sound,.

  • its not stax its american he didnt get to stax till july and october or december 1973

  • Right : At Stax , Elvis recorded songs which got released on ´´Raised on Rock´´ and ´´Good Times´´ ; december 1973 and march 1974 respectively .

  • I HAVE THE CD The Memphis sessions where this song was taken from along with many other alternate takes {inc talking etc} if you don't have it and would like the whole cd forward your e.mail address and i'll send it to you.

  • There are memers of the stx band, such as the memphis horns and donald dunn

  • Jerry Reed's quote to Elvis as they met was the best . He said " Son,if you aint the best looking son of a bitch I've ever seen". Elvis burst into laughter. True story . : )

  • What yr did he meet him?

  • late 1967 early 1968

  • I second that. I'm not gay either but hey - he was one good looking dude!

  • a really really big shoe

    mrmojorisin IS elvis

  • Great underated song and great edit job. I loved it.

  • Purelistener I just love you!!! :)

  • 'Blow your own brains out man'. Recorded as a jam in '69 and gets better every time you listen!! This is rock at it's finest!

  • This was recored at Stax in Memphis in early 1969.

  • You did a wonderful job on this video. Your pictures and songs are the best. Keep this going. Thanks for all you do!

  • fantastic video with a fantastic song. great job

  • Nice, it's got a nice 12-bar blues rhythm groove, but I'm screwed to know what key it's in.

    Lyrics ain't half bad either.

Elvis = single most famous solo act ever!!

  • It's in the key of E.

There's a bootlegversion of Elvis rehearsing the song with his TCB-band for "That's the way it is" here he uses some x-rated lyrics that he probably made himself on the spot.

Thanks again for the video !

  • Half of the pictures I've never seen before.

  • Love the rhythm of this song and Elvis sounds great as always.

    Great photos of Elvis also.

  • ELVIS = KING

  • This guy took so many cool pics, and the song is excellent, thanks!

  • I really enjoy your videos. You pick great lesser known Elvis songs and add pictures of E that I've never ever seen! Thank you!!!
