Bauhaus is nothing when it comes to technique, they're all about creativity.

They deserve a place in history for the contributions.

I agree that they're creativity comes first, but from a purely technical point of view Bauhaus/Love and Rockets are musically superb. Daniel Ash, David J and Kevin Haskins always had proper musical chops that put many of their "goth" contemporaries to shame. They are sorely under-rated for their sheer musicianship. Credit where its due.
