A lot of debate about healthcare does not address the fact that administrative costs account for a big percentage of the dollars we are charged. My wife went to the OBGYN and when it came time to pay, as soon as the secretary saw my wife paying cash the bill was discounted close to 40%. Why? A lot of debate about healthcare does not address the fact that administrative costs account for a big percentage of the dollars we are charged. My wife went to the OBGYN and when it came time to pay, as soon as the secretary saw my wife paying cash the bill was discounted close to 40%. Why? Because of the amount of work involved in just submitting all of the paperwork to the insurance companies.

If we eliminated ins. companies, health care costs would drastically drop because they're in it for profit. Paul likes the idea of health savings accounts where you start paying in when you're 18 and keep only catastrophic ins. on the side. It would negate the middle man.
But even if you're not with him on health care, at least Paul would take ALL U.S. troops off foreign soil and bring 100's of billions of $'s per year BACK into the U.S. economy so we can re-build our economy.

@canofsand Go look it up anywhere you want. Biggest scandal going. How about the news station that reported it. Go look up radiation in Texas drinking water here on You Tube. Then Google the same thing. Take your pick of articles when you get there. And those gas-fracking idiots are dumping millions and millions of gallons of radioactive toxic chemical waste into the very rivers and streams that supply drinking water to people all across the country. Thanks to Cheney scrapping the safe water act
