Ragazzi voi continuate a non capire una cosa... varie golf,a3 e compahnia bella ovvio che vadano di piu, con 300kg in meno anche mia nonna avrebbe piu accelerazzione!! Cagatevi in macchina due ciccione da 150kg l uno e vediamo come va la vostra merdina tedesca!! Il 3,2 holden non e un motore totalmente schifoso... il problema e il peso in generale, a parita di massa la 159 inculerebbe tutti ;)

@TheQuattordici But It has plenty of potential.. the torsional rigidity of the chassis was made thinking on a v8 engine thats why the 159 GTA was fitted with the 4.2 from maserati.. So the structural frame in any 159 is the best of its class.. it easily will deal with a supercharger mantaining balance and handling.

This is Holden (General Motors) 3.2 made in Australia, tuned by Alfa Romeo. Of course good old fully Italian 3.0 V6 Busso is much better. No doubts about it

@TheQuattordici Non è vero..io possiedo il 3.2 V6 su 159 Sportwagon ed è meraviglioso! Il V6 Busso era vecchio di 27 anni fa e raggiungeva a fatica i 200 km/h dal momento che era esile di erogazione a quella velocità..inoltre non è mai stata fatta una versione 4wd su quel motore quindi raggiungere certi standard di velocità e di handling era impossibile alla maggior parte dei guidatori!

I think this car loses a lot with it's automatic gearbox. My 2.4JTDM isn't really that far behind.With a remap this 3.2 automatic may lose to my manual 2.4. The engine is great and you can't really compare a diesel engine to a petrol one.Nice car;)

It's not that much slower than 3.2 manual, but to be honest I didn't really like this Opel-made gearbox for a list of reasons one of which is it's hopless in terms of fun, comparing with manual
