I've been listening to GR for 20 years now, and never noticed how much they sounded like a metal version of Queen when they had Ralph on vocals (until my wife just pointed it out). Kai's guitar lines in this are very Brian May.... Which is a good thing, I think.

@EduOnFlames I think it's a bit suspicious though that they only started writing albums that were good all the way through after Ralf left though. Even though Ralf is a better singer than Kai, the albums without him are better and more consistent (compare with the debut, which has awesome songs like "Lust for Life" and this song alongside terrible songs like "Space Eater" and "Money").

Geez, Ralf is a badass singer! Althought I think it was right that Kai took over vocals for Gamma Ray, Ralf is undoubtedly the bettter singer, his range and stamina is beyond belief! I hope one day, maybe when Primal Fear and Gamma Ray are playing at the same festival, that Ralf will join his old band for a couple of numbers. That would be awesome! Gamma Ray have few other songs too that have influences from other bands. But every song are Gamma Ray style and they are not copying :-)
