Set the camera to manual - spot measuring mode - Set the exposure needle in the viewfinder in the correct value of the grey card, for neutral collors in the middle, snow: almost to the complete right but not overexposed. (the bar with the needle is like a grey card from completely black on the left to completely white on the right... Try it, I know I'm right. Subscribe to my channel !

It is 50% grey, or mid grey. The 18% refers to the reflectivity, not the color.
