That was awful to watch, I must say. I'm a meat eater but I love and adore cats and dogs and all animals. I wasn't aware the animals were killed so inhumanely. Me becoming a vegan won't save the animals. It was such a sad thing to watch. Just as awful as watching dogs get beaten by bad owners and fighting dogs brutally kill each other because humans forced them to. There is nothing I can do to help the poor animals... it's so awful. :(
This broke my heart and I started to tear up. I was already a vegetarian before I saw this video but I did eat fish(Only salmon) but the video did help me relize why I became a egetarian in the first place. So long as we continue to want their product and only willing to pay as little as possible for it, it will continue. KNOW YOUR FARMER if possible. I know that can't be easy for everyone (city dwellers, elderly, school (lunch) students, etc.) but the more of us that work toward that direction, organic...free range, grass fed, etc. the closer we come to eliminating the need for faster, bigger, MORE....MEAT. I live in a semi rural area and there are plenty of mom and pop farms out here where eggs aren't too much more expensive (maybe 45 cents more for a dozen) or sometimes cheaper than a supermarket, and 90% of the time you get to these places and their chickens are all over the place as they should be. The eggs from those places taste WAY better than the supermarket eggs due to the hens eating good food too.
that video is actually a god send! i have been reserching vegetarianism for a while now & trying to figure out if its worth it & this video has throw me over the edge, & theres many other reasons to become vegetarian other than the APPAULING way animals are treated & executed, like did you know it takes upto 20 times more fossil fuel to create meat calories than vegetables & it takes 3 to 15 times more water to create meat protein plus meat causes many cancers & our bodies are that of herbivores

This extremely cruel compared to the practice in my country Vietnam. We leave the chickens to roam free in our farm, with sunlight, on real soil. Have ever wonder why chicken eggs in Asia are brown and USA eggs are white? That is because the USA chickens never received sunlight their entire lives. We go and manually pick each egg they lay on the the ground. And we don't torture the animals just because we are pissed. Before killing a cow, we literally say goodbye and thank you to it.

That film made me a semi-vegetarian four months ago. I *could not* stomach the meat left in my fridge, so I gave it to my dog. His food still contains meat, so I'm not "innocent", but myself, I now only eat veg-alternatives to hamburgers, sausages etc. Tastes just as well, or even better, because there's no cartilage and such.
I have no problem with killing for food, it is the treatment of the animals that I won't support.

That was awful to watch, I must say. I'm a meat eater but I love and adore cats and dogs and all animals. I wasn't aware the animals were killed so inhumanely. Me becoming a vegan won't save the animals. It was such a sad thing to watch. Just as awful as watching dogs get beaten by bad owners and fighting dogs brutally kill each other because humans forced them to. There is nothing I can do to help the poor animals... it's so awful. :(

This broke my heart and I started to tear up. I was already a vegetarian before I saw this video but I did eat fish(Only salmon) but the video did help me relize why I became a egetarian in the first place. I live in a semi rural area and there are plenty of mom and pop farms out here where eggs aren't too much more expensive (maybe 45 cents more for a dozen) or sometimes cheaper than a supermarket, and 90% of the time you get to these places and their chickens are all over the place as they should be. The eggs from those places taste WAY better than the supermarket eggs due to the hens eating good food too.

I have no plan on becoming a vegetarian or vegan but I am very conscientious of where my food comes from. I prefer to catch my own fish and hunt my own meat but when that is not an option I only buy free range organic meat.

This extremely cruel compared to the practice in my country Vietnam. We leave the chickens to roam free in our farm, with sunlight, on real soil. Have ever wonder why chicken eggs in Asia are brown and USA eggs are white? That is because the USA chickens never received sunlight their entire lives. We go and manually pick each egg they lay on the the ground. And we don't torture the animals just because we are pissed. Before killing a cow, we literally say goodbye and thank you to it.

That film made me a semi-vegetarian four months ago. I *could not* stomach the meat left in my fridge, so I gave it to my dog. His food still contains meat, so I'm not "innocent", but myself, I now only eat veg-alternatives to hamburgers, sausages etc. Tastes just as well, or even better, because there's no cartilage and such.
I have no problem with killing for food, it is the treatment of the animals that I won't support.
