  • 0:25 some one need to tell that kid that Batman cant fly

  • darkseid is now part of the gang...

  • Oh my god! I had those! I remember having Superman, Wonder Woman, and Darkseid and not knowing who Darkseid was at the time XD I think we may still have the Wonder Woman one floating around somewhere

  • Holy shit I just remembered I have (had?) the Darkseid one...AAAHH RETRO MEMORIES GOODNESS!!

  • wait wonder woman could fly back then......what happened to the invisible jet????Got stupid or somethin?

  • @DarPower1 I think back then it was that she could glide on air currents... Its less confusing nowadays that she can just fly & the Jet makes long trips easier & makes HER invisible too.

Also I have a newer issue where she keeps a disk in her belt that transforms into invisible vehicles. Way cooler than the Bat-Plane IMO

  • Cool, I don't remember these at all.

  • OMG back in 88 i was 6/7 years old and had these cups from Burger King as well as Willow ones from Wendy's and Roger Rabbit cups from Mcdonalds. Ah to be nostalgic.

  • @Johnlindsey289 I liked getting glasses better, because they didn't wear off the pics, but they did always end up broken it seemed. But we still have some Flintstones Kids and Chipmunk glasses at home. But I used to have Muppet and Star Wars ones that were awesome! I had the Roger Rabbit cups too, but they eventually lost their awesome images.

  • @slave2moonlight Do you remember The Goonies glasses from McDonalds? I had all of those as a kid.

  • @TheAltair4 Actually, I don't remember those! I'll have to seek out some of those cool old glasses on Ebay someday. Would love some Goonies ones. I believe the Chipmunk glasses I had were from Hardees, and I feel like the Flintstone Kids ones were at Pizza Hut, and Star Wars from Burger King. The Muppets may also have been from Burger King. I think I also had Disney ones when I was super little, but I can't at all remember where they were from. Maybe Sonic? Maybe McD's.

  • @slave2moonlight Those Goonies glasses were super cool. My favorite one had artwork of the deleted scene with the octopus on it. I really wish i still had that baby. lol.

  • @TheAltair4 Sounds awesome! Yeah, I miss those glasses. I may still have one Great Muppet Caper and one Star Wars glass at home. I remember someone broke my Ewok one and I guess my Jabba one too, but I think I still have the Sarlacc one. I'm going to sneak back the Chipmunk and Flintstone kid glasses from my parents' house someday too, ha. But, I'm tellin' ya, gotta hit Ebay or something, someday. I also remember some cheezy 80's clothed Disney character cups we had from the Wal-Mart snack bar.

  • @TheAltair4

I had a few when i was 4 years old.

  • @slave2moonlight

Pizza hut had those Flintstone Kids glasses and i still have some.

  • This was just so awesome when you were a kid.

  • God I did give the world to go back......80's was soooooo cool.

  • i miss some of cool 80s toys :)

  • I remember those, I had the one with Darkside

  • @gl0087 Darkseid

  • I still have a Batman & Darkseid still with me. I use it to store pens, pencils, scissors etc. lol.

  • I still got the batman and superman ones of them.

  • Since when did Darkseid wear a cape?!

  • OMG don't call me a nerd, but I just read the first issue of Forever People from the Fourth World saga and he's wearing a cape just that issue. Maybe he loans his cape to Darth Vader XD

  • @DoctorTopper

Well, Darkseid was one of the inspirations for Vader.

  • @DoctorTopper

    NEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRD

  • @DoctorTopper NERD

  • I remember having two Wonder Woman cupholders and having to exchange one with my godsister for a Superman. In 88, I would have been 5 and still in kindergarten whcich sounds about right. Kinda weird that Darkseid had a cape.

    Anyways thanks for uploading this

  • These came out in February '88. I remember, cause I had them (grin). They were pretty cool. I was a huge fan of the superfriends/superpowers animated series. It was odd that they chose to release these in '88 though, considering that no new superpowers animated series/comics were in production at that time. Burger King may have also released these back in '85 originally (which would have made more sense w/ the SP timeline.) Thanks for posting this commercial! I've been searching for it!

  • great info! glad I could help

  • @idaltuguy

in 1988 CBS-TV broadcast an excellent SUPERMAN animated series produced by Ruby-Spears that guest-starred Wonder Woman on Saturday mornings.
