@rogueorange you are not going to do that because then te cylinder pistons are out and that can damage the cylinder.......

@multiolay it wont damage the cylinder, and it is standard practice for safety, if sumone gets under there and that hyd system fails it can get ugly

@multiolay it will not damage the cylinder when the machine is not moving. besides it should have a guard there. and at the end of the day, would u rather damage your cylinder? or your leg? go and look at the general rule of mobile plant, it is common knowledge that when a machine is to be parked. all implements should be lowered to the ground. to avoid injury to people moving or working around the machine.
