There's the Fender Custom FMT HH Telecaster, made in Korea, very cheap; and there's the Fender American Deluxe Telecaster FMT HH (the one on this video), which is obviously part of the American Deluxe series. They're are more expensive, but are waaaaaaaaaay better than the korean teles.

@lrb I'm sure that he just typo'd because the american deluxe FMT is a HSS I have this guitar, same as what he's playing and it screams. Comes stock with seymore duncan pups and cream colored bindings, maybe the best value out there, you can buy it new for 650 bucks. It has been made in Indonesia and Korea and they are better than my MIM Strat. For the value it's tough to beat. Do I grab it when I reach for my best guitar? NO, That would be my PRS Custom 24.

@kodiakchazz Hi there. Sorry but you're mistaken. The Fender American Deluxe FMT Tele is a HH guitar. I have one too as you can see on my videos. You're probably taking it for the American Deluxe FMT Strat, which is a HSS guitar. Anyway, the Korea/Indonesia FMT is a great guitar and you're probably right: one of the best value out there. It's just not nearly as good as the American made. Best!

I am a little confused about a few things. Firstly, another video said the Tele Deluxe FMT H-H was made in Korea. Is there two models? If so, I expect a considerable price difference. Secondly, I have a guitar currently with a coil tap feature which I have always found pretty unusable as splitting the humbuckers usually also seems to half the output volume. How does this guitar fair out in that regard?
