But when Starr or Bradshaw played in the postseason, they played the best that their eras had to offer and they played great. SB wins are overrated when determining a great QB only if you think of it in terms of "The QB won that SB all by himself", which is obviously never the case. But with Brady, it's not like he had the 2000 Ravens defense with him in those 3 SBs. So saying the Pats won only because of their defense is just as ridiculous as saying Manning is only good because of the offensive talent he's had around him.

Manning isn't the face of the NFL. Peyton Manning got drafted 2 years before Brady, and started his rookie season. And he didn't get injured last season. You dont know that Manning will retire before Brady. Nobody does. Manning is only a year & a half older than Brady. At 33, Manning could easily play 5-7 more seasons- considering how rarely he gets hit. If Manning stays healthy, Brady would have to play well into his 40s to catch Manning's numbers.
Brady's INT numbers are low because he throws a lot of safe & smart short passes. He's a dink-and-dunker, which isnt a bad thing as it cuts down on game-losing INTs.

I agree Peyton is just a better Qb hands down. His accuracy, poise in the pocket, and playaction passing. Manning has new recievers except wayne and hes making them great players just like he did marvin. Brady didnt make his recievers better in the past, he needed a hall of famer wr in randy moss to put up good stats. Its obvious to most people that Peyton is just better. If peyton had a defense like the Pats had, he would have 3 to 5 superbowls. Peyton will always own Brady.

Manning isn't the face of the NFL. Peyton Manning got drafted 2 years before Brady, and started his rookie season. And he didn't get injured last season. So he has 4 more years than Brady to garner those wins and to pad his stats. The best WR/QB combo is debatable. A couple of QB's had their first pass as a TD, so that doesn't mean shit. Brady also has half as many picks. Brady has 3 rings, thats all I need to know.

if it was up to tom brady to make the nfl better, then he would make it touch football. he cant take a hit, he injured his leg and was out for a whole season, while peyton injured his leg and still racked up points. peyton manning and marvin harrison are the best pass combo since joe montana and jerry rice. if adam vineteri wasnt there, tom brady would have no super bowl rings.
The pats lose to a team that has 6 losses and tom brady cries about it and refuses to show up to a pro bowl.

Tom needed surgery to repair his knee. Not his choice. Tom threw for 50 TD's 8 INTs and 4,800 yards in the same season. Those are all better stats than Peyton's career highs. And Tom has the rings, not Peyton. Brady also had an undefeated regular season, something Peyton will never achieve. When they are both retired, look at what they've accomplished and then say who's better. As of now, it's Brady.

There was only one Super Bowl that year, in case you forgot. They lost by a field goal, and Bellichick coached terribly. Still went 16-0, and beat Manning's ass that year. Manning has played 4 more seasons than Brady. Manning has double the INTs that Brady has. Brady can play in the playoffs and handles himself better in clutch. Brady has also been through several offensive coordinators in his career. Manning has had the same staff and targets behind him his whole fucking career.

No QB wants to get hit. Tom had multiple doctors telling him he needed surgery, and his coach made him get it. And the Giants have Eli, not Peyton. Has absolutely nothing to do with Peyton. And Tom Brady knows how to get to the super bowl. Like I said, Manning has had 4 more years of playing than Brady. And Brady has 4 appearances, and walked out with 3 victories. Peyton's only managed to get their once, because he's a chode in the postseason. When they retire, Tom'll still be better.

You dont know that Manning will retire before Brady. Nobody does. Manning is only a year & a half older than Brady. At 33, Manning could easily play 5-7 more seasons- considering how rarely he gets hit. If Manning stays healthy, Brady would have to play well into his 40s to catch Manning's numbers.
Brady's INT numbers are low because he throws a lot of safe & smart short passes. He's a dink-and-dunker, which isnt a bad thing as it cuts down on game-losing INTs.

u dont need randy moss to throw a six yard pass(wat brady does) he had to run up the fckin score to break a record manning got taken out in the blowout and if he didnt that would give 10 extra touchdowns he had 6 touchdown passes in less than 3 quarters if he played all it would be about 11 and he only played like 2 minutes in the last game of the 2004 season i think thats when he broke the record and also its a lot harder to break a record with a 30th ranked defense
