If we hadn't lost millions of potential home buyers since 1973 to abortion, they would have reached home buying age in recent years and be out buying homes. Maybe we can get the bank regulators to ban abortion because it causes serious economic problems like the ones we are experiencing now.

Regulation is actually what got us into this current crisis. Government regulation required the financial sector to act outside of its best interest. In other words, low interest rates, imposed by regulation, badly damaged financial institutions. Another thing, look at GDP, It fell sharply during Clinton's term and went back up in Bush's. Its business cycles. We're due for a recession about now. Please educate yourself rather than point-fingers.

You're right John and Cindy McCain "sneaked around" behind the back of poor Carol Shepp McCain who had been maimed in a car accident and was basically raising their 3 kids ALONE.
And, Let's not forget that this KEATING 5 SCANDAL is the excuse Cindy McCain used to justify her thievery of prescription PILLS from her own non-profit company.
Cindy McCain managed to destroy countless lives in her "cover-up" and the Doctor's license was revoked. He can never practice again.
Relax...McLame isn't going to win this election. He'll go back to doing what he does best. Passing legislation for his corporate lobbyists that will screw the average American taxpayer because he wants to deregulate everything.
Why does any of this matter? McCain has said over and over that he is a DEREGULATOR and Phil Gramm passed the 1999 Act, which McCain supported, that caused this mess.
n September 1990, Keating was criminally charged with having duped Lincoln's customers into buying worthless junk bonds of American Continental Corporation; he was convicted in state court in 1992 of fraud, racketeering, and conspiracy and received a 10 year prison sentence. In January 1993, a federal conviction followed, with a 12 and a half year sentence. He spent four and a half years in prison,
"After a lengthy investigation, the Senate Ethics Committee determined in 1991 that , Alan Cranston (D-CA), Dennis DeConcini (D-AZ), and Donald W. Riegle (D-MI),had substantially and improperly interfered with the FHLBB in its investigation of Lincoln Savings. Senators John Glenn (D-OH), and John McCain (R-AZ) were cleared of having acted improperly but were criticized for having exercised "poor judgment"."
weird - someone on another video posted a comment about the Clintons and the CRA and how their policies have also fed into this current crisis...Ron Paul mentioned it as well in some of his interviews. Good ideas sometimes have unintended consequences, I guess...but I suppose it's not farfetched to think that many or our politicians in both parties are in bed with business interests. Both sides have their downsides.

The Democrats OWN this debacle. There is absolutely no disputing it. They created the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac jokes, have overseen them since the 90s, and refused any implementation by the Republicans to reform these programs.
Anyone who starts using YouTube to claim otherwise is so far beyond crap, that there are just plain lying sacks of poo.
Nice try, but neither Fanny May nor Freddy Mac could have gotten into this trouble without good old fashioned Republican deregulation, much of which was authored by Phil Gramm. Phil Gramm wrote McCain's economic plan. Phil Gramm also wrote legislation with the help of financial industry lobbyists that removed new financial products called swaps from any regulation.
Credit default swaps are at the heart of the subprime meltdown.
The record shows the Democrats ARE to blame. The Democrats have receive over $300,000,000 in campaign donations to block legislation to stop giving loans to people with no money- & they did -twice ! Including one bill submitted by McCain [S109](2005). Obama has received over $1,000,000 in the past 3 years from these companies !!
