Has anyone tried using this cable with the iPad HDMI adapter? I hate to have a garden hose size cable running from my couch to my TV so this would be great.
@Ni5ei go on amazon buy a cable from there with 3$ pay 3$ more for shipping, test it out, monster is for dumbasses all the HDMI cables are the same the only diffrences on the are the headers angles, the length and the rubber cover that is ontop of the wires.. do not buy this, feel free to ask me why but please dont buy this crap, please.
i used to work in an electronic store.....i got $99 monster hdmi for $16 buck with my employee's discount. i know the type for hdmi doesnt matter. i still got so i can get "premium" hdmi cable for low price lmao
HDMI is a consumer interface. No professional broadcast equipment uses it. Broadcast equipment uses SDI which is a two wire coax cable.
Since it's digital, it either works or it doesn't.
Monster products are made in China using the cheapest labor possible. Their products are marked up, easily 500 to 4000 percent higher than it cost to fabricate. You're paying for the hype - nothing more.
I have seen a difference on the HDMI my grandpa owns. I have a phililps and he has a Monster for PS3. It really looks much better on his TV. Just a bit. Color and Shaders thats all that changes a bit.
a little off topic but i just got a monster hdmi M2000 cable for 25 bucks. it looks legit, exactly the same as those sold at monster cable dot com for 300.00. i don't get how they're is such a big price gap. i know there a lot of knock offs out there but the one i got is not a knock off. hmmm. i wanna try returning it to best buy for a 300.oo credit. lol
i agree with freefullvideos comment, some cheap hdmi cables do not support, 1080p, and GamingReviewsLive you should do more research before yous write a comment. If you have an expensive led tv like mine 60 inch samsung LED 3D tv you will be able to tell the difference between a cheap hdmi cable and a Monster 1000hd hdmi cable....I tested both cables and monster cable 1000hd its lots better,........
You do know that because HDMI is digital signal, all it does is sends 1's and 0's through the cable. There fore there can't be any increase in quality using a more expensive cable. HDMI will either work, or won't show anything. Its not like analogue signal where the signal strength can be increased.
@freefullvideos Because 720p goes at a different data transfer speed. Cabled that handle 10.2 Gbps can handle 1080p. If you buy a Monster Cable that is 10.2 Gbps at 50$ and a Monoprice cable 10.2 Gbps at 4$, you will get the same picture. Same goes for lower data transfer speed cables. "Standard Speed Cables" support 720p, and "High Speed" cables support 1080p. Some cables can support 1440p also, but are usually built for 1080p.
@freefullvideos monoprice bet youve heard it acouple of times but just in case.....$4 hdmi cables 1.4a compliant support 3d ethernet over hdmi and 4k resolutions :D all for 4 bucks and build quality is exceptional!

@dfog2007 Dude you can get a much lower priced cable that can do 1080 P:)
Monster Cable is a ripoff.

@dfog2007 If someone swapped your cables when you weren't looking, you would not be able to tell the difference. I guarantee it.
If you'd done any research, you'd know that all current-generation HDMI cables at a given length perform exactly the same.
Enjoy your placebo.

@dfog2007 YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.

@GamingReviewsLive But then why do some HDMI cables say they are 720p and some like this one say they can do 1080p?
