The Eagles lost to the Raiders. The Cowboys lost to the Broncos and Giants, 2 legit teams, on the last drive of both games with seconds remaining. The Eagles got dominated by the Raiders. Did the Eagles even score a touchdown in that game? Wasn't it 13-9? I just don't know what to think about the Eagles. Plus, the Eagles HIGH POWERED offense got shutout in the 2nd half of that Redskins game.

The eagles days are numbered, our offense and defends seem to be playing at a normal level, the eagles scored 40 and the Cowboys score 38 in their last games. They are pretty close numbers, but I say that the defense will pick up its game and dominate! The score should be something like 38 to 24 in favor of the DALLAS COWBOYS! freakin' eagles can run all over a hurting team...lol we will see about that on Sunday!

Dallas should split the carries between Felix and Tashard through 3 quaters with MBIII getting a few and in the 4th put Barber in bc that seemed to be where he is most effective and seems like the best way to utilize all 3 backs. The Eagles lost to the Raiders. The Cowboys lost to the Broncos and Giants, 2 legit teams, on the last drive of both games with seconds remaining. The Eagles got dominated by the Raiders. Did the Eagles even score a touchdown in that game? Wasn't it 13-9? I just don't know what to think about the Eagles. Plus, the Eagles HIGH POWERED offense got shutout in the 2nd half of that Redskins game.
I guess we'll just find out what happens next Sunday night.

Alot of people thought I was crazy when Isaid they should have traded LT instead of Turner. Turner has been more productive than LT. I was right there to. They could have gotten two solid defensive player. But LT has earned the right right to be there cause he had alot of great seasons. Barber had one. That first year was one the best Ive ever seen.

Roy Williams is a problem because in order to get him the ball you have to risk an interception because he is always blanketed due to his inability to get free.

larryallenfan is an idiot. The Cowboys just resigned Marion Barber to a 7 year 45 million dollar contract. If they traded him, they would take a huge hit against their salary cap. Marion Barber is the most complete running back on the team. Felix Jones big play ability makes him the #2 along with the fact he's a first round draft pick on a 5 year, 10.5 million dollar contract. The Cowboys did not sign Barber and Jones to long-term deals, and start them just to bring up their trade value.

Roy Williams is on a 5 year, 45 million dollar contract. The Dallas Cowboys are not going to pay a wide reciever that kind of money to have him play the slot or to have him play tight end. It's just not going to happen. Roy Williams is a starter now, and he will continue to be a starter for a very long time.

Well, if anything the Packers lost, Falcons have a good chance to( and we already beat them ), and the NFC west is back to losing. I only say that b/c of wild cards if the cowboys don't get the east. These are teams lining up for future wild cards. Plus the boys will take on the packers as well. So, yes we will see how things will stack up. Roy won't put up big numbers but this feels like a "if it aint broke..." situation to me. Crayton seems to fit in the slot and Austin shines where he is, leave em there and let Roy run around in circles on the other side of the field.

Shango, i gotta disagree with you on one thing...
we're not kicking on all cylinders just yet. we went out there ahead with 38 points on the board, and we decide to throw it? the resulting consequence gave the Hawks a cheap touchdown. we've got some of the best rushers in the league right now. why couldn't we just run it? we did the same exact thing against the Bucs (who are an equally sucky ass team).

I got no problems with Roy if he keeps working hard on his blocks. Its strange. You get use to a guy complaining about touches (T.O.) and then you realize that's not always gonna happen from your receivers
It's all communication right now. Roy's making different reads on the coverage then Romo is.

Just one more comment I have: did it seem like we didn't have much of a running game today? I know it doesn't really matter too much, we won the game solid. But I'm not sure I like the way Jason Garrett is mixing up our running game between the different runners. I love Marion Barber....but I would still like it see more Felix Jones.

Yes definitely more Choice also. I was looking at the numbers at halftime and we only had like 70 yards total rushing and Felix only had 3 carries for 16 yards. Was thinking: Hey Jason Garrett, what's wrong with this picture?

Way to go Cowboys! Great game...we looked solid all around. Let's all enjoy this for a little bit. Next week's game could be very long and very painful. It also could make us all jump out of our seats with excitement if we beat the Eagles in front of their home crowd to take first place. Wouldn't that be sweeeeeeeeeeet?
Thing is....I am still feeling the pain from that ass whoopin' at the end of the season last year against the Eagles.
