Oh shit, this is just a slide show of paedophiles. Not what was I expecting. This is the consequences of enforced celibacy. Not a natural way to live. If you believe that you were created by God, then you must also believe that God gave you sexual organs and a sexual drive that you are meant to use. The supression of sexual urges, feeling of guilt and shame regarding sex etc within the church certainly contributes to this kind of behaviour.

no, i was a devout catholic, who had a personal friend abused by a priest, and when he complained nothing was done. i live in the boston area and know for a fact some of the devious underhanded actions of law, and other bishops around here.

Study the history of the Church. The office of the Inquisition still exists today, they just changed the name.
