  • Hey umm who picks up this area? The South Los Angeles District or the West Los Angeles District?

  • @WWEFProductions North Central picks up here.

  • I wonder how many times a parked car gets spanked? :-)

  • @ 5:27. took me back to 1999. love them old memories.

  • nice volvo!

  • maaan, that volvo sounds mean :D

    great video.

  • Thanks!

  • i wish we had asls

  • Nice post!! What are the odds that another of that SAME kind of car alarm would go off in one of your vids?! They must be real sensitive :D

Could you hear what the resident had to say to the driver that took so long? Seems like it'd just be "Can you also take this, it's not greens just excess trash"...Anywho, 5 stars and a favorite! Love seeing this Volvo while it's still around!

  • LOL I hate car alarms. The guy was talking about what goes in the containers. Im guessing new people moving in.

  • Oh, that'd make sense...

  • And one thing I realized is that car alarms are supposed to alert people when someone's car is being stolen so everyone goes out and looks (for the owner's safety)...but obviously that NEVER happens!! I guess it's so that the owner him/herself is alerted about it. At least this is what I've always thought...

  • LOL when they go off no one cares.

  • Yeah, exactly!

  • the bin at 5:03 does it say on the top lid atlas disposal because when I was very little about 2-5 that is the company I could remember that got replaced with Consolidated (which I fell in love with, not literally), because I sort of miss them.

  • No all city owned carts.

  • ok because they look exactly the same, black with a gray lid

  • Lol.

  • I remember Atlas mostly square bodies, very few Lgal Ones/Amreo octos. I loved there fleet, then Consolidated came with the elliptical heil FLs and all the Legal ones and Amrep octos.

  • I like atlas a lot and wish I could see them again, but I never saw square bodies though.

  • your welcome

  • Btw beautiful skyline of downtown LA and the Chinatown hills in the middle ground at 8:26.

  • Yes its better at night.

  • Esp. around Christmastime, when US Bank Tower is lit up in red and green. Obciously, if it is not raining or foggy/cloudy.

  • Yes I saw it.

  • Cool to see the 347 come back for trash. These were all ex West Valley trucks before the LNG trucks came here. The 200 was also a local truck here until the end of 2003. The 800 obviously has it its entire history in that area, and more specifically South Central.

  • Yes ive seen 800 ever since i started filming in Chinatown.

  • nice. why was there a

wm fl there anyway? does wm have routes near by?

  • Picking up the dumpsters from the apartments.

  • Neat. So does Los Angeles have any Amreps or drivers that don't flip lids or not?

  • No I didnt see any I know theres some around though.

  • Cool. BTW whatever happened to the little green Schaefer?

  • Schaefer I never had a little green Schaefer or do you mean Otto.

  • I meant the one in China Town.

  • nice in lovin the classic volovos. and that pete collecting green waste is pretty fast and looks like you got the same clip in their twice lol! nice Waste Management FL. cant wait for footage of that beast anyways 5stars and a fav

  • Oh my bad. Im not going back there till spring.

  • aww guess we have to wait 'till spring

  • Sadly yes.
