  • Geoff really should have his on TV program; it would be an enormous benefit to society.

    Another great "teaching" moment.

    Thanks so much for posting.

  • "A way to feed the soul, one garden at a time." These words are celestial. People don't seem to realize that in their garden lies paradise.

  • permaculture is the method by which we in America can finally end this failed, crashing and burning dream and return to the real world. we can transition from this society of ignorant, fearful, unhealthy, blindfolded, backstabbing sheep... and regain the independence we lost so long ago.

  • well said, well said.

  • I believe the utopia we are looking for will be created when technology becomes married to ecology.

My permaculture teacher Andrew Jones said something very close to that to me on my first day of class.

  • Very nice

  • Thank you YOUNG PEOPLE, THEM DINOSAURS CREATED THE PROBLEMS AND REFUSE TO CHANGE FOR OUR FUTURE BECAUSE THEY ARE COMFORTABLE.

  • Really great info...

  • What the hell are we waiting for!? Please sign me up for a perma-culture course, I wanna get involved

  • Great vid, but it's a shame that David Holmgren is being written out of the Permaculture record.

  • I'd like to get a more in depth idea of how this is done and how it works in different climates. How small can one start out?I have 20 aq. of high praire pasture.Rainfall is 15 in. a year.

  • @lifeseeker51 20 Acres is plenty, 15 inch a year is Arid, but it can be done ! take a permaculture course, specifically for the climate you have would be best. film your progress, and put it on youtube.

  • Geoff should get the noble prize.

  • "One small step for man,

    one giant leap for mankind."

    Local solutions of global scale.
