Actually, Casshern Sins came out in 2008.

This came out in 2004. It's based on an anime from the 1970s. Casshern Sins was a reboot of the franchise.

Mega Man took a lot of inspiration from the old Casshern anime, like pretty much the entire premise.

Godamn, The original Casshern movie had to be the very first Anime I EVER saw. I was like, 7 years old when I first saw it.

Casshern outdates Megaman by many many years. And Casshern itself takes alot of elements from Astro Boy.

Just learn to live with the fact that the "boy-robot" story pretty much goes all the way back to Gepetto and Pinnochio. Or maybe even Frankenstein. It's a story that's been told countless times. And it's always great.
