Lol SH3's combat is a clone of streets of rage two. The headbutt, the grabbing, the jump kick, all of it. It's not a bad thing though, because if an awesome game is going to copy something, it might as well be another awesome game, right? It's not a full clone though, like the transforming is new.

I was convinced as a kid that body in the boss room was Jennifer. Reasons to support that theory?

1. First play through I let the timer run out cause I was busy exploring. So Jen was "destroyed".

2. The body on the floor has feminine looking slender legs.

3. There's a FACE laying on the FLOOR with dark hair similar to Jennifer's in the cut scenes.

@PageofLegend I did a few times before on both normal and easy. I can post a recording of it. It should be uploaded within an hour from this post or less. Funny because I'm not that good at games, but these older games not not too hard since everything is a pattern (where hard when I was a kid). I'm not very good at RPGs or FPS, and not one of those people that play on the highest difficulty of anything. This game is not that hard to me since I find patterns and exploit them. You will see.

I prefer this one, TBH. The graphics have been improved considerably, Rick has more freedom to move about the room (and mansion) in most parts of the game; they story is better constructed, and your actions affect the outcome. But to each his own.

Namco really did a great job in taking the series into a bit of a different direction with this game in terms of the gameplay. Sure, the time limit can be a bit annoying at times, but it does make the game increasingly more challenging, unlike the first 2 games which were easy as hell! Not keeping it as a pure 2D side-scroller also made the gameplay more action-packed and exciting. The ability to mutate was also pure badass!

Second Boss is in there could be due to that Master Boreworm infecting Jennifer with a worm. The first boss is the same monster that can kill Jennifer if you don't get to her in time. From the script that I read, the Evil One pretty much just taunts him through the whole second level when it happens.

Okay I finally figured out the moves:

Spin kick (Rick): back, forward, attack.

Gut attack (Mutant Rick): back, forward, back, forward attack.

Pile Driver (Mutant Rick): While grabbing enemy, hold up (or down) and press jump.

Incidentally, as Mutant Rick, you're throw the melee weapons rather than swinging them.

I use to defeat bosses in this game by using his special move while he's in a transformed state. Just in case some people don't know how to execute it, it's BACK, FORWARD, BACK + ATTACK BUTTON. Other than that, at least this game was not crappy unlike other game sequels.
