  • I saw your first video and this is a BIG improvement, may I ask what type of algo u used?

  • @TunioMir

It's a CPG algorithm :) You can take a look at it at:

    code.google.com/p/cpg-biped-robot-simulation/

  • Pretty cool, but didn't the guys at the firm that made the "self preserving" rag doll physics for that recent star wars game already do this?

  • @Slip819 It's completely different. "self preserving" rag doll physics don't care about real world physics and ignore a great deal of stuff about mass, momentum and friction in order to work and look good on games. My solution, on the other hand, is made to be implemented on real world robots. Although it's far from being ideal or complete.

Anyway. I no longer work on this and there are far better real world solutions out there :)

  • @Zemat79 :) sorry didn't mean to come off rude, do you mind if I take some of the source code and try to make it work with an augmented version of polyworld?

  • @Slip819 Or at least I mean look and see if there's something interesting to work with, kinda just like "hobby" around with different evolutionary simulators.

  • @Slip819 Sure. I'll post the link to the code in my user page...

  • Post your stuff on the breve forums!!!!!!

  • I will do eventually. But right now the code is bloated and uncommented. Once I finish my thesis I will post it as clean as possible.

  • Cool!
