Out of all these videos, this girl is the best I can find. And she's not even that good. She dropped "Kmart" in her commercial which is the most important word. But she probably wouldn't know that because JRP is a money grabbing scam that doesn't teach you anything.

omg it is a scam! I went there, auditioned AND took classes! plus i found out that they accept anybody who auditions, meaning no rejections. Yes, all they want is money, but that's not the only bad thing.

Yes, u have alot of fun & gain more confidence etc...but in the end, does it really get you somewhere? No. Not the type that you dreamed of.

I went there but It was a ton of money and It was an longer than an hours drive so my parents did'nt go through with it. We heard about it over the radio and did'nt know much about it but gave it a shot anyways. When I went there was a lady who was talking to the whole entire crowd and she made it seem beleivable and all. It was nice inside and the people are really nice.

Eh...that first monologue is alright.. I know she's only a kid, but it looks completely "acted" instead of lived through. I don't know if she's ever been a cheerleader for a real competitive team, but those girls are brutally committed and trained. I should know, I used to coach cheer. And so if they get get from a team when they know they're the best it would be a lot more personal than that. It would not be off the cuff like this girl is playing it.

I've been at JRP for about 3 years now,and Im happy to say that I have learned SO much there. They not only IMPROVE your acting abilities, but they teach you really how to act on camera which is more difficult than it looks. You learn so much and it really makes a difference. You HAVE to want it though. those people saying its not good obvioulsy haven't put forth their passion. Go to ALL the auditions you can and enjoy it. Break a leg, and stay true to yourself!!

It is a scam. Allyou people who do JRP don't understand because you've never taken classes anywhere else. There are much more professional places you can go that aren't as expensive. And you guys talk about the auditions you've had but have you landed any jobs?? Have you made any money that can account for what you've spent on their low-rate classes?

I'm sorry to say this, but JRP is fake like lots of others said. They take your money and teach you nothing, and this monologue commercial isn't so convincing.

JRP is not a scam. I might go there. I have an interview tomorrow. Some of the most successful actors and actresses go there and look where it got them. Don't diss JRP. you probably say it's a scam because either you don't care, you haven't been there or your just jealous. It's not a scam. And you don't through your money away. Sorry to say, but i use to go there. It is indeed a scam, and im saying this because i dont want people to get hurt. I'm now taking professional acting classes and i relize how much JRP did not teach and how fake they and their actors are. Acting is not acting, its actually Becoming the character!!

My daughter is a JRP student. How much do people spend on ice skating, piano, guitar, skiing, soccer ,etc. lessons for thier kids. JRP DOES teach self estem, how to be a lady & gentleman. Yes, there is money involved.. but if you are going to follow any dream, you have to play on the team and guess what.. all sports (equipment, signups, & travel time) cost money.

I say, if you want to be the best you, and you want to try TV or movies, go to JRP and be you!

There are some that are known to be legit and great but there are plenty who Just take you money and they accept everyone that why they make you call them after your audtion (to control the numbers). i attend now and it has been the most AMAZING experience and have learned a ton!! the staff is incredible and i have learned beyond what i thought i would. i have only been with them for like 2 months and on my second audition i got chosen to attend ipop las vegas this summer!

Notes as an experienced director and casting director-

1. DICTION! be careful to enunciate. Try slowing down, try finding the moments that matter, and give them pause. Think about what you want.

2. You can obviousely emote, but again I have the speed issue comming up. Make the moments you are sinister count!

3. Great, very expressive eyes. Use them more, learn to exploit them.

4. Everything you did sounded the same, try some variety in your motivations and you will be a star.
