I got halo 2 in 2006 for my xbox 360. I did not expect it to work because I did not have xbox live and my xbox would not support backwards compatibility. But I put the game in anyways and all of a sudden that guitar played with the bunige logo...I ran around my basement screaming.

I still miss the teamwork, the modes, the friends, the parties, and the victories. I even miss arguing with other players. I hope that you guys held Halo 2 friends close and made up with enemies before the end, because some of them might not buy the new games. Even if they did, it'd be near impossible to find them ever again. One last frag, one last capture, one last goodbye. Even in my last game, no one was tempted to talk or yell, not in our last minutes together.

On september, 27th, 2011, we should all play Halo 3 and hopefully make it as populated as it once was. Halo 3 is a great game.

You can still play it online with XLink Kai. There is no Matchmaking, but you join System Link servers over the internet.

@EverythingHaloCE No, all you have to do is download and install the program, which only takes like 3 seconds, then you join an arena in the Halo 2 servers, then you go on your Xbox or 360 and search for System Link games on Halo 2. Simple as that.
