There are children dieing from starvation around the world, child labour taking places in dangerous & poor conditions, children caught fighting in conflicts and wars etc. that merit more attention and changes than a common disciplinary training program for an international sport everyone everywhere recognizes.

If the trainers and coach are monsters as foreigners make them out to be, surely they would have not allowed interviews or filming and recording of the kind of training camps they run. These mental & physical training are quite common for instance in ballet and boot camps. I am a foreigner when it comes to other cultures outside my own and I don't go wagging my finger/criticizing and attempting to paint other nations or cultures in a negative light. I would expect the same from others.

Yeah Yeah it looks bad but every one of them knows that it will help them in the long run. My gymnastics coach is from China and she is amazing. Sure shes tough and pushes us like that but it makes us BETTER. And we KNOW that it makes us better. Its just part of training...

I think that it would be better for the coaches to loosen up at bit and let the children have a little more freedom. My coaches are tough but we arent in an strick environment as they are. I'm adopted from south Korea, and I have to go to this culture camp with my best friend every year, and it seems that peeps from Asia will treat young kids like babies. Since I'm eleven, I WILL fight if I have to.

Poor kids. Even if they did try to fight, they might be put into more work. It makes me want to cry:(
