@boredpersonthingy Superspeed would cause high wind speed and friction and water would be blown off and evaporated, didn't you see commercial where guy stuck his pants out the window to dry his pants except he made a mistake and they blew away. So they slowed the scene where you could see her at least not as bad as slow motion on $6 million dollar man.
wouldn't it be wonderful if people could really fly like that, I have dreams like that all the time! GREAT MOVIE! I love Faye Dunaway in this she made a great villain! she is the perfect witch!
How come the people of Argo City arent dressed like the Kryptonians of the original superman films I & II? They are originally from Krypton too I thought.
Zaltar changed their Kryptonian heritage with the matter-wand his brand new creation. I wish Kara's father Zor-El was suppose to take over Argo City and that was in the Story but the whole origins changed
@TheDjmoore33 You think the average person in America, Japan,and wherever and Judges and Prisoners all dress the same way? The Superman movie showed Judges, ruling class and criminals sent to the phantom zone this movie is none of those groups.
I saw the entire film and I thought the actors were wasted in a so so script. There were so many villians that Supergirl could have fought that were more interesting. Helen Slater was the right actress but she needs another shot as the heroine. There were not enough super feats and Wonder Woman could have done what she did and she can handle magic better. The snide remark about Jehovah's Witnesses could have been left out since one could also say "Those damn witches" to mock a religion.
The flying effects here after the flower scene (not by the clouds) looks so real. They did a great job using one string. Helen will always be my supergirl...
This movie was intended to be nonsence. The director looked down on it, but enjoyed it.

Showing a super-hero who's feminine was a
big gamble for the producer. This movie
was re-cut later on,and that improved it.
But I liked the concept regardless.
