  • how to watch multiple chanels at once

  • i like samsung 3d tv

  • shutter glasses acre crap passive is the way to go at least with passive u dont need batteries or recharge them up and a big price difference to

  • Comment removed

  • someone help me please is 3d suppose to be only depth cause i got a 3dtv and there are no poppin out when i play on xbox 360.

  • @masters902 the disc needs to be a 3d disc, it will say if it is a 3d disc on the case, if it is go to the options menu of the game and it will have a 3d option, also i dont think xbox has 3d games so you'll have to look that up, but ps3 does though

  • Good Tecnology

  • Samsung's LED are not very good. Sorry if i offend any of you Samsung users. I tend to find LG's LW9500 passive TV much more satisfying. This 3D LED TV have too many limitations the most annoying one being, having to move your head every 7 or 8 minutes for the motion sensors on the shutter glasses. They will turn off automatically if they dont detect a big enough motion, very very annoying.

  • @patrickcarolla Really? Isn't there a way to turn that off? I'm thinking about buying a series 7.

  • can you watch 3d with any 3d glasses or does it have to be those fukin expensive ones?

  • @lilshoxx They aren't actually that expensive anymore... the SSG-3100 glasses for Samsung TVs are only £40 now. And yes, you will need these. The glasses give your left and right eyes different images by closing one and leaving the other open, and doing it very quickly in sync with the TV. Plastic cinema ones can't do this, they just rotate light, i.e. polarise light, not block and unblock it. You can get TVs that use the £3 cinema glasses but they tend to have problems like limited content

  • @SenorCosmo okay thanks but £40 is wayyy too much for a pair of 3d glasses.

  • in every 3d advertisement video there is always a comment that says: 3d porn

  • get reading to a blurry image and cloudy patches all over ur screen...ppl can have some respect for ppl's mind and dont give a shit by lying ...just b like experts wen u talk about a product............i bought samsung and im so disappointed ......

  • im telling you all ! i just bought this tv 2 days ago ! .....is something elseeeee !

  • @JayWar407 Which one did you get and what was the price? Where did you buy it? (USA/Canada/UK?) I'm doing some research to find out what 3d TV is right for me. I want it to be an LED 3D TV, probably around 50 - ish inches (50 - 55 maybe). My price is somewhere around $2400, give or take depending on whether its worth it to do so. I want a newer, quality TV for gaming and movies. Also what type of glasses does it use? (I think they said Active shutter).

    Any opinions/tips are greatly appreciated

  • @kickit246 i bought on Sam's Club (USA) for 2000$ when i bought it i though it was a regular 3d tv you know but when i was playing around with the menu i saw the twitter facebook and video apps (it has like 10 apps installed) so i was happy about it BUTTT i was even happier when i find out that when i connect my external 1 tb hard drives whith 250 HD movies the tv reconzed the .Avi .mkv .mp4 and all types of formats i was like DAAAAAMMMMNNN so yeah !

  • @kickit246 gaming ? i ave a Xbox 360 it looks great idk about the ps3 but the speakers sounds really good.....about the glasses :/ idk i not worried about the glasses drect tv just has 3 3D channells so,,,, but trust me 3D Tv makes a BIG difference on how Regular HD tv's looks like ......so idk if my opinion about the tv helps you :) haha im in love with my 3D TV ! LOL ....BTW i have the 55"

  • @kickit246 if you any other questions let me know :) idk much but i have the tv right here so i could see everything about it lol ....Sorry bout my english ....once again IM IN LOVE WITH MY 3D TV !

  • @JayWar407 Lol, thank you for your opinion, it helps a lot. I'm still browsing around for whats right for me. Turns out I have more to spend on a new TV then I thought. The Samsung series 9000 is an option, but its so expensive... I just want a quality, regular 3d TV i think, then I can spend the rest on something else. Anyway, thank you for the replies. I'll take them into consideration as I continue to look. Also does anyone know when the 2011 models come out? For any company?

  • 3D wont go anywhere....it will be just like blu ray just a way to make money....who now a days can afford a 3D Tv and the player and glasses that go with it..Did anyone mention how bad these glasses are on your eyes..i guess they wouldnt tell you that.

  • @Watsy1958 just like blu ray players? how have they not gone anywhere? every video store has blu rays now and billions of blu rays movies are sold.

  • 0:26 and after, watch the blinking of the glasses, that why 3D is going to fail, imagin having that flickering + the refresh rates at the same time, for example for the entire length of a film. Probably you will throw away the glasses in the middle of it.

And thats not a Samsung problem its a problem with the 3D of all companies, because they use the same system.

Till they manage to find another way to make 3D, i advise you all to avoid 3D, no matter the brand of it.

  • @Longgshot The flickering is because they are filming the glasses with a regular video camera... the capture rate of the video camera they are using is not matching the refresh rate of the glasses. If you went to a Best Buy to see it with your own eyes that flickering doesn’t happen. That being said it is expensive and the glasses do hamper the experience, but don’t assume all 3D is going to fail based off a 2D video at the wrong refresh rate that you saw on youtube...

  • @erictesch That you dont see it with bare eyes, doesn't mean it isn't happening, first, it isn't like what tvs do,its like if you turned on and off the light completely at high speeds alternating eyes and in front of them(creating an artificial blinking),that is a problem itself because its a HUGE stress for the eyes(its basically an epileptic seizure simulator),but having that right in front of the eyes, plus having the refresh of the TV at the same time, its even worse for your eyes / brain.

  • @Longgshot CRT TVs have been working that way for a long time. The cathode scans over the phosphorus exciting the particles in an interlaced fashion, which means it refreshes every other line every 1/30 of a second typically. When one tries to film their TV, if the camera and TV aren’t synched properly, a flickering will occur due to the refresh rate mistiming. LED bulbs also flicker at an intense rate faster than the human eye can see. Anything faster than 24 fps we cant see but we use everyday

  • @Longgshot If that flickering is such a problem for you, then go look up LG's newer 3D TV's. They use passive 3D glasses, same plastic ones you get at the movie theaters. No active shutter ones. Do research before posting comments. Soon there won't even be glasses at all....

  • is this really cool and worth it?

  • ANYTHING ON 3D ????bad stuff XD

  • ( samsung n' 1 in world

  • So do you have to put those glasses on and sit in your home like an idiot to be able to watch 3D? :-\

  • 'Samsung 3D LED TV Series Explained' my ass, I still don't know the difference between the 7000, 8000 & 9000

  • Ive only got a Samsung Series 5 LED so no 3D for me... for now until i can afford a better TV

  • saaaala teri bond lana hai

  • can i play bluray 3d movie using USB?

  • hey can i watch bluray 3d using USB?

  • huh i saw a 3D Tv but the cool thing is you dont need a 3d glasses

  • Price?

  • @CamperDamper tooooooooooo high abt 40 000$

  • @G4ng5t3Rz Ya I dont think playing it in 3D would help mutch at all anyway. It does work for a lot of Blu Ray movies though. I watched Avatar in 3D and it works pretty well. Also tried it in the store yesterday they were playing Alic in Wonderland on Blu ray and had it in 3D mode on the TV and it looked nice as well so you can watch several movies in 3D. Regular TV does not work at all though. Cable companies need to catch up.

  • @andrejvidovic1 WOW! I completely forgot about blue Pepsi! LOL

  • @G4ng5t3Rz Tried it last night with MW2 in #d mode and it does not work very well. It is not true 3D in the way you are thinking and it is a bit distorted. The DVD or game has to be rendered in 3D to work properly and PS3 is the only system I know of that has a few 3D games. Regular TV shows do not look right in 3D mode either. Again they have to be broadcast in 3D to work right.

  • I have this TV now and it is verynice. The 3D works well but not as much as say 3D at IMAX or at Seaworld. Their 3D system is really true 3D where the images come out of the IMAX screen a lot and with the 3D TV it is basically giving the image more depth and the colors are a little more vibrant. you can tell the picture is in 3D, but dont get one thinking it is going to be the same as in the movie theater. I am debating on taking it back for a reg LED or plasma and waiting for the 3rd gen 3d TV

  • OMG! 3D Wii AND PS3!!! AWESOME!

  • Anything in 3D? how's that possible? Like non 3D movies will now be in 3D? wtf?

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!! killzone 3 in 3D!!!!! =]

  • yes 3d gaming on this 55 inches tv is very sexy.

i will play games on it by connecting it to my desktop PC with evga gtx 460 1GB.

  • X Box in 3D !!!!!!

  • Crysis 2 in 3d :) anyone thinking the same?

  • what about 3d gaming? is it possible with x360 or ps3?

  • @MmatanelL yes its possible :)

  • No offense but this isn't really revolutionary technology, I don't think a lot of people will buy this, I smell another "blue pepsi" coming....

  • ... tetris in 3D anyone?

  • @Tha1337king only if its on water screens

  • Call of Duty in 3D =D

  • black glasses for watching tv thats not right

  • For all of those who said that 3D TV won't catch on? I remember when CD's came out and they said that they wouldn't catch on either. I get my TV delivered on Friday, I cannot wait.

  • ....3d World of Warcraft?

  • OMG! This is a MUST for the world cup! Just imagine to see Spain lifting thw cup in 3D

  • @mw2freak55 again in 2014!

  • @G4ng5t3Rz how about bad company 2 or crysis in 3D guess will be better :P

  • @sultankraver bad company 2 my fave is a lucky bugger :D mw2 wont be 3d compatible but later games that have been released will be more compatibale for 3d yeah xbox and ps3 brought out the 3d update but it wont be as effective on mw2 since it was an older game im sure CoD black ops will be 3d but the even better game MEDAL OF HONOR! will be immense! that just looks TOO real that game haha

  • i saw one today at LEONS FURNITURE......... its actually AMAZING........... way better than i expected......... very surprising......and the LED COLORS ARE STUNNING........... had a demo from SAMSUNG rep........ if this is first gen.... i say.... WOW.

  • its active shutter glass technology. = fail.

tho its much better then polarized in some ways it fails price wise, consumer demand, and public interest.

of course if you get the new tv's money will be invested. but from the consumer point of view autostereoscopic and even polarized tech is the way to go in the long run.

oh and did i mention that not all shutter type glasses are compatible with all 3dtv's = another fail.

samsung suck on this till i get my LG LD920 or LD360 :)

  • I guess you'll have to sell your skin to get one of those, specially the C9000. But they are insanelly thin. Samsung always amaze me. <3

  • Finally someone thought to use this decades old technology in the TV sector.

  • welcome to Devil generation!!!

  • @CristyFIare wat do u mean

  • It looks great in person. But all SIMULATED 3d using 2d content sucks, period. Watching actual 3d content on this screen was pretty outstanding. But when people tell you you'll be watching "all your favorite movies and programming" in 3d, they're selling you something. For an example of this fake 3d, go see Clash of the Titans. More like "Release the Ripoff!!". Keee-rap. 100%. It looks like a view master cartoon at best. Remember those, looking like a pop-up book in the viewfinder? That's it.

  • What techniques does thi TV use?

It uses the Stereoscopic method, which is nice.

However, does the image change depending on what angle you view the screen at?

    Both would be fucking revolutionary.

  • I'll wait for Samsung's Auto 3D TVs...

  • i think this won't be as good as the REALD cinema ones.

the distance is too short and there are too much stuff going on. so the depth effect isn't that great

  • I saw this tv at best buy wit da 3d glasses and that tv is sexy....it's actually 3d u would see in da theaters

  • Can we play ps3 on 3D with this tv?

  • @gsrhatch14 no u cant...u would have to have a 3d game

  • actually, we are WAY closer to glasses-less 3D than yoou all think, the nintendo 3DS, a 3D Dsi, which is 3D WITHOUT glasses, is scheduled to release before may 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how it works is a mystery, so dont ask me!

  • @jaime9777 The most probable explanation is that the 3DS will project the image into space which, when viewed from a certain angle, will appear to pop out of the screen to the viewer. (Can't wait!!)

  • @torterra13 sorry friend, no pop outs. only depth and angles.

  • @jaime9777

I hope you know that the 3DS was an April fools joke

  • @htfkid Nope. It wasn't. Autostereoscopic displays offer glasses-free 3D you noob.

  • Oh. I never doubted the technology I just doubted the 3DS, and turns out the press release from the American Nintendo CEO was an april fools joke about the announcement of it being an april fools joke... confusing.

And don't call people noobs to try and engage an argument because you'll just look like a massive tit doing so.

  • @htfkid I'm sorry for calling you a noob. I hope you don't carry this behavior of mine to someone else...

  • @KnightMD ty

  • You only wear galsses when u want to watch a 3D content, rest of the time its an ordinary LED HD TV can watch programs normally.

  • im glad they are giving children and adult sized glasses

  • this tech is gona b a flop cuz u gotta wear glasses all the tym!! its gona b irritatin!!

  • Yes, 3D is still a gimmick. But it's perhaps a stepping stone to real 3D imagery without glasses (perhaps a holographic effect will soon be on the cards?).

Mix the new transparent OLED display with 3D glasses and I reckon you could have images that look like they're standing in front of you.

  • Yes, but it's impossible to either always wear the glasses or always not! This technology is doomed.

  • Comment removed

  • @ArchangelWhiteRose You only wear 3D glasses when watching 3D movies, else there is no need to wear them. Did that thought slip your mind?
