  • Too too good. Takes me right back. Had a good few DJs bollock us for falling all over their decks body-bashing the fuck out of this. I don't care if you're gay or not Kirk . . . . Spear were fucking excellent!

  • Haven't heard this song for 25 years, mmmmmmmmmmm seems myself and music has changed, as the song says 'come of age'. Sounds very dated now, not timeless music like some other music from the 80's.

  • Seen SoD many times in the 80's but this is a terrible version of Liberator. Lacks the passion and edge of the original on one eyed jacks, or live (original).

  • The name of the band had almost slipped my mind but I remembered Kirk Brandon and the name of this track I'm glad to have found it I lost so much on vinyl when I moved from Scotland to London. Happy to have found this!!

  • superb,used to work in a hospital in theatres and me and my mate STU USED TO SING THIS AT THE TOP OF OUR VOICES bloody great times was lucky to see Spear a few times and later met Kirk in the blues bar in Harrogate,asked him about the eighties he said he could not remember much about them.

  • My hubby used to work in Tescos years and years ago and that is what he used to do... he is still going to see them when they play at Glasgow and was last there in Jan.... im sure he has spoken to Kirk a few times too although i dontknow what about.. He's the SOD/TOH/Dead Men Walking fan im afraid... as much as he tries to get me to go to a concert with him i havent yet ..maybe one day ..

  • Well blow me. I haven't heard SOD for years. I saw them about 10 or 11 times in glasgow as a younger man. They were simply the best band of their time closely followed by Theatre of Hate of course. tes74 thanks for the memories

  • One of my favorite bands of the 80's saw them a dozen or so times here in Glorious Scotia a band full of feeling and passion. This is a great mix!

    Rainmaker is superb too both wonderful anthems!
