Too too good. Takes me right back. Had a good few DJs bollock us for falling all over their decks body-bashing the fuck out of this. I don't care if you're gay or not Kirk . . . . Spear were fucking excellent!
Haven't heard this song for 25 years, mmmmmmmmmmm seems myself and music has changed, as the song says 'come of age'. Sounds very dated now, not timeless music like some other music from the 80's.
havent heard this since october 1985....me and my "new brother in law went mental to this on the dancefloor at my wedding reception...much to the disgust of my new wife and her family!!...
Scooter rally record. Can't remember them playing any other Spear of Destiny stuff so it must have just been that this fit with all that psycho billy stuff that was popular in 85-86
My settee just gave up and twanged I was jumping around so much! I'm 37. The old girl can still give it plenty to a monster tune from her youth! Now where's that Deep Heat............
great song me and my mates used to dance and exact pure vile to this tune doing exactly as it asked probably sent bussiness to schooley 2 lol it was a great way to get rid of stress my mate dave lost a tooth to this tune he should have been lively eh lol great shock he was gay never mind horses for courses still top band seen them loads and would go again respect
Seen SoD many times in the 80's but this is a terrible version of Liberator. Lacks the passion and edge of the original on one eyed jacks, or live (original).
i was a punk at the time but hitch hiked to see them in nottingham and it was probably one of the best gigs i've ever been to rip toh but thanks for giving me one of the best night of my life guys......awesome
wot a song nice comment bout the teeth no how u felt hahahaha. this was allways played in the youth club bk in 80's with king kurt wen we first b cum scooter boys mental all the way
i think this was there best single ,,,it just kicks arse out of any songs produced today ..do not think any youngsters would no what would happen if they heard this ...remember all that wrecking on the dance floor great fun!!!
Saw SOD about twenty times in the 80's, culminating with them supporting bloody U2 at Wembley Stadium. Right at the front with 70,000 behind me and my mates. Top day out.
Reminds me of nights at The State in Liverpool ... great phsycobilly days mid/late 80s .... seen them at the Royal Court Liverpool .. awsome as is One Eyed Jacks ... yes old enough to have it on plastic... !!!! Take a look at Never Take me Alive ...still feel 20 when I hear them ... !!!!! xx

The name of the band had almost slipped my mind but I remembered Kirk Brandon and the name of this track I'm glad to have found it I lost so much on vinyl when I moved from Scotland to London. Happy to have found this!!
superb, used to work in a hospital in theatres and me and my mate STU USED TO SING THIS AT THE TOP OF OUR VOICES bloody great times was lucky to see Spear a few times and later met Kirk in the blues bar in Harrogate, asked him about the eighties he said he could not remember much about them.
My hubby used to work in Tescos years and years ago and that is what he used to do... he is still going to see them when they play at Glasgow and was last there in Jan.... im sure he has spoken to Kirk a few times too although i dontknow what about.. He's the SOD/TOH/Dead Men Walking fan im afraid... as much as he tries to get me to go to a concert with him i havent yet ..maybe one day ..
Well blow me. I haven't heard SOD for years. I saw them about 10 or 11 times in glasgow as a younger man. They were simply the best band of their time closely followed by Theatre of Hate of course. tes74 thanks for the memories
Hey thanks for the comment ..it is my partner who is into them... he still goes to see them when they come to King Tuts in Glasgow... Thanks again!! :D
Aww make sure you buy it again for your next birthday and keep it in your pocket at all times... with a padlock and chain on your pocket... thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.. :D
