First of all, I don't think the Carp Drop is dumb... I think it's BRILLIANT! Second of all, we loved PDC! However, if your (you're) concerned about yer (your) town appearing a few carp short of a fish fry, I'd suggest using a proof reader, dictionary, or spell check next time you represent PDC. Oops! I lived in Prairie du Chien for several years, and I don't think I ever went to the Droppin' of the Carp.... most of the people my age didn't go. I feel it's a bit embarassing to try to get your town on the map by dropping a fish from a pole.. the least they could have done was made a colorful FAKE fish... dropping a real frozen fish is just kinda... gross

I work at the radio station in Prairie du Chien (Q94), just moved here and yeah its ..strange. But hey I went to it last night and the ppl were really nice, so I didnt mind it ...despite how friggin cold it was lol.

I miss PDC :( My mom linked me this video- we are in FL now, but we are from there. My mom's family all live up there still, and I plan to take my husband to visit soon. We've been married nearly 4 years and haven't made the trip yet with our 2yr old daughter. I was kind of disappointed not to see any of my family/old friends in your video :P
