you will probably improve picture quality by not having the lcd area open faced, by incasing the area up to the projector lense/mirror in a cardboard box. light pollution in the room from the overhead projector itself is probably what is causing the faint image.even a small amount of light will wash out a faint light. you will want to ventalate and watch for heat and probably build a fan into it if it improves it quite a bit and make something sturdier.just a thought.

exatamente isso amigo, essa é a ideia, porem pra isso tem que desmontar o LCD todo pra ele ficar transparente, pois o LCD nao brilha por si, ele usa uma lampada atras dele, removendo esse sistema ele fica transparente

LCD is "8" with 600X480

that is a lot of lcd screen smaller than "5" for CAR DVDS, or u can use PSONE portable screen

funciona sim, mas as de acrilico são as melhores, essas que estão a venda em sites de E_comerce geralmente são de plastico , elas dão resultado mas acrilico é muito melhor, tenho uma de plastico comprada no Mercadolivre aqui e não gostei do resultado.
