Namami Nanda-Nandana is about Krisna. More specifically, it's a warning. It warns young girls not to get too close to Krisna because he's a very beautiful young boy and he'll steal your heart. The blessing you get when you listen to the song is that you will find love.
This track is actually 12 minutes long, there's the 'Namami-Nanda-Nandana' at the first part, then the 5 or so minutes of silence, then the 'Hari Om' part at the end.
Does anybody know why Kula Shaker placed that long silence at the middle? Was it there so you could meditate or simply as a filler? This has boggled me for years now.
Hi...It is s to remember and chant the Hare Krishna at that time, meditative and concentrated, deeply and lovingly from the heart. The song itself is a gloryfication of Krishna.
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna
Krishna Krishna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama
Rama Rama Hare Hare
This is true, I know that he chants this mantra every day, so does his wife
..beautiful music and pictures, this song is very powerful, special!! crowned with that wonderful woman voice and the bird's orchestra, it gives good vibes!!
Nice shit, man! Not a drippy hippy, but I like to contemplate my navel, so one day, Daevid Allen may bless me on the alter(!). I like this stuff, but I like a drink, a puff and a laugh too! I'll never be able to show my head at the Vegan Glasto Cafe again...
Other very important thing is that, I would like to know the source of all the Sri Radha Krishna pictures depicted in this video, as I have completely got charmed by these pictures and want to keep the entire collection shown here. Can you please help me out in getting to know the source of these pictures? Are these available online or somewhere other place? Pls tell me. -- Jai Jai Sri Hari Radhe.
Hi, This "Nanda Nandana Ashktam", by Kula Shaker is really amazing and soul refreshing. The music, specially the Flute and the background vocals (Female) had made this compilation outstanding. My heartfelt thanks to its broadcaster.
I wish they would have sang the whole Nanda-Nandan-Astakam. It owuld have been so beautiful. They only sang the opening and a later verse. But nevertheless, Amazingly Beautiful Video and Amazing Music. Tears to My Eyes :-) Haribol

It's just meant to be an extra 'hidden' track on the end. There's something on the end of 'K' too. Some bands do that on the end of their CDs.

@nightvisiongoggles1 It's just a hidden track. Like the hidden track on K. Basically to scare the crap out of you when you've drifted off to sleep.
